  Too dark for me as well. I came to hate this game. Couldn't see the objects, and Madame Fate kept croaking at me while I tried to find 20 matchsticks or whatever. Bummer.

  Try turning up the gamma on your video card. Should make it a lot brighter.

  My gamma control is on my monitor and I usually have to use it when I play hidden object games. My monitor controls say Brightness Contrast and Gamma. Of course I had to get my monitor manual out and read it to find it, but it really helps.

  I also use a magnifying glass that I got at the craft store originally for needlework and making jewelry. I couldn't do hidden object game without it.

  I agree, this game has so many "moving" things, it is very annoying.

   

  I am in the Shooting gallery, can not find the pocket knife or the tamborine!!!!!
