I play a lot of Hidden Object games and loved Return from Ravenhurst but even with walkthroughs and more, I find the mini-games frustrating to the point of distractoin ... and have had to take many pics into a "pixel viewer" to find the objects which isn't bad but between that and the mini-games I stalled out and gave up on it.

Can anyone tell me if the other MCF games are more like Return to Ravenhurst or this one ... (Return to Ravenhurst, had no fear of timing out on game, the mini-games were easier, and hidden objects much easier ) ..

Lavona, in my opinion Madame Fate is the hardest of the MCF games.

If you like the style of the MCF games I can recommend Hidden Expedition: Amazon. There is no time limit. Even so some of the objects are hard to find, but as you don´t experience any time pressure with this game it just increases the challenge.

You find tips and tricks for Amazon with solutions to the puzzles here. And if you have an especially hard time with a puzzle, you can let the game solve it all by itself, just hit the hint button several times.

    EDIT:
The other MCF games Huntsville and Prime Suspects have no elaborate puzzles. Time pressure is there, maybe not as intense as with Madame Fate.

Ravenhearst´s HOG part is not too difficult, the puzzles are almost as hard as the puzzles in Madame Fate.

    Edit again:
Did I mention that I love them all?  LOL

I've enjoyed return to ravenhearst, but i had a walkthrough to help me. There's too much back tracking, you don't know where to go.  I tried Madame Fate and quit when I got stuck.  I love these games, walkthroughs are almost a nessity to make if through.  I'm looking for a walkthrough for Huntsville, not been able to find.  Any help would be appreciated.

Madame Fate is actually my favorite of the MCF games, because I need more than just finding objects to keep me entertained over a long period of time - and the mini-games in fate are really unique and often funny(if somewhat obtuse - it's often not apparent what the goal of the game is, and often you waste time with unnessary actions that seem like the goal, but turn out to be just amusing, decorative distractions!). You have the option to skip them, & then try them again next time. I've played it through to the end many times - and still have some unconquered puzzles, and unopened 'mystery locations' waiting. Keeps it interesting! My one complaint: Madame's whining: "Why does everybody hate me?"  - Well, maybe cuz you're a paranoid psycho-killer??? But, a fun one!
