Hidden crown insignias

Am I crazy or anyone else hasn't seen Hidden crown insignias anywhere? Or is it for Collector's edition only?

I went 5 hours into the game and got stuck at the cemetery - there was nothing to unscrew in the coffin so I thought it was the case (Hidden crown insignias). I deleted the profile and started all over but there are no any Hidden crown insignias to be found at places that specified in a walk-through.

Can anyone help please?

I ran into the same thing.  Don't know what it means but you might be right that it is just for the CE which I didn't buy because I didn't think it was worth it.  This game is not as good as the previous ones.  It is good but the others were much better.

If you are playing the game and you haven't seen the insignias, they are likely not part of the SE game. The insignias are not well hidden so believe me, you would've seen them.

To be 100% sure, go to the walkthrough for this game and scroll to the bottom where it provides a list of the locations, then check against the game.

As much as I liked this game, I liked Dire Groves morphing objects much better. More of a challenge to find, I thought.

Hi there, thank you!

Has it influenced the end of the game in anyway for you? Have you been able to finish it?

I actually really like this game. I don't think I played a lot of of HO games this one to me seems to be one of the best so far. I can actually say that almost as good as Return to Ravenhearst for me.

Thank you for your feedback very much!

Hi there!

Thank you for your responce! Yes, unfortunately, it is very clear that they are not there... I only hope that it is not one of those "glitches" tht I read about.. I really like this game a lot.

Thank you very much for suggetion - I will most certainly check out Dire Grove. For some reason it has become harder and harder to find something as good as a Return to Ravenhearst..

Havea great day!

I'm envious. Sometimes I wish I had one of those Men In Black memory erasers. I don't really enjoy replaying games so I wish I could wipe my brain clean and play Return to Ravenhearst and Dire Grove again "for the first time."

I doubt it's a glitch. The Standard Edition of Dire Grove didn't have the morphing objects. The better gaming developers will add extras into their Collector's Editions (instead of wallpapers or junk no one would want anyway) as an incentive to buy them. I really liked 13th Skull but if the only real extras are the insignias (which are really easy to find) and the bonus chapter at the end, save your pennies and stick with the Standard Edition.

All that to say, it's not a glitch and if you buy Dire Grove, consider splurging on the Collector's Edition.

This is one of the RARE FEW games that I would recommend buying the CE version.

So many CE’s have little to no extra game play. I personally would never pay for a walkthrough and I generally don’t care about the concept art and wallpapers.  But I am glad I got the CE version of this game.

Here are the things that are in the CE that are not in the SE.

Bad - On the negative side, the in-game strategy guide in this CE game is poorly done.  It is not worthy of being included in this game.

Good - The concept art is interesting and I enjoyed looking at that.  The wallpapers are nice to look at but I would never use any of them. The extra game play on the pirate ships is fun and has a couple of good puzzles but it does not last very long, maybe 45 to 60 minutes.

Worth the extra money -  For me the Achievements in the CE version make it worth the CE price.   Some of the achievements are rewarded for just completing the game but some of them really have to be earned.  The 20 Crown’s insignias and the 10 gold insignias were the “Crowning” achievements for me.  The search for the insignias made subsequent play interesting and challenging.  When a game holds my interest and challenges me with something new when I play it again that is a big plus.

It all depends on what kind of things you enjoy in a game.  So it is good to have the choice.

I also often had wished I could have an amnesia concerning some games and some books. I replay some games sometimes and like it, but nothing is as wonderful to explore a new game on the level of "Dire Grove" and "RTR".

Luckily i don't have a really good memory :)

The game is over and now I feel it was a little sort? But anyways - I loved he actors and the graphics.  I am from the South so I really appreciated the humor :)

Thank you for the suggestions and have a great day!

RTR was totally awesome. I think I will be replaying it shortly!

Thank you for your clarification! I am not sure that I will be spending money to play CE but I agree on the achievement part - they do get addictive!
