Real Arcade and Big Fish do not distribute the games that they each develop. They have some of the same games that others develop. Since Mortimer Beckett was developed by RA then BF won’t carry it. The same is true for Azada and the MCF games. Since BF developed them RA won’t carry them. It would be nice if this would change in the future. Send a Kudo Post a Reply

I think you'll always find you end up having to go to multiple sites to get all the games. I belong to Big Fish and Shockwave Unlimited, and I buy a few games directly from other developers. Shockwave does get most of the Real games, including Mortimer Beckett.
(We've been discussing subscription vs purchase plans over in the general forum, so for further comments on that, I"ll go over there). Send a Kudo Post a Reply -
Pilar, Thanks, was afraid that was the case. But, budget (fixed income) being what it is... Will stick with BF's $6.99 plan. Send a Kudo Post a Reply

Robin9412 Thanks, have been following that discussion. Am afraid the extra $60 bucks a year is too much for our budget at this time on top of Big Fish’s $6.99 a month fee. We usually buy 3 extra game credits a month (when our SS checks come) so for the price of what it would cost for 1 game at $19.99 (most sites) we get 3. So, for us the BF site gives us the best value for our limited budget at this time. That’s not to say this won’t change in the future. Thanks again for your comments, and we will continue to follow the for mentioned discussion. Ya’all have a nice day! Send a Kudo Post a Reply

You can sign up for Real Arcade and get one game free just for signing up. Then you have to cancel your membership within the first 30 days, so you won't get charged the monthly fee of $9.95. The one game you get free is yours to keep. You can read about it on their website.

You can copy and paste this website into your browser if you want to check it out. That is a way to get Mortimer Beckett for free. Happy gaming! Send a Kudo Post a Reply -
Well, for the future, you could consider the option of Big Fish membership plus 2 extra game credits plus the equivalent of $5/month (less than one game credit) for all the games at Shockwave. If you can come up with the $60 for the first annual payment, you'd be saving $2 a month over what you're paying now, and you'd have a lot more games to play. Send a Kudo Post a Reply

Pilar, I’ll give that one some thought, depends on how much my wife wants the game. Already have the 4.1 version of realarcade on my computer, but have never joined it myself. My wife had bought several games from them last year before she got me hooked on HO games this past Nov (and found out about BF prices) and I use it to play those games. IWin is another option, if you don’t mind putting up with the adds every few minutes. Anyway, thanks for the idea. Send a Kudo Post a Reply

Robin9412, Have been thinking about something along those lines. We are supposed to be getting that economic stimulus check from the government sometime after the 20th of this month and had intended to spend some of it on BF for extra game credits. Will talk to my wife when she gets home from the hospital later this week and see what she thinks. Is this game one of the ones that you can play, I know “Cate West” (another one she played the demo and liked) is because I saw it a while back when browsing their site? In any case, thanks for your suggestion. Send a Kudo Post a Reply

Yes, they have both Mortimer Beckett and Cate West. I'm prettty sure you can see the full list of available downloadable games just by going to their site. Send a Kudo Post a Reply

What's the chance of Big Fish getting this game? If so when? Send a Kudo Post a Reply
