Earning from Decorations and Commercial Buildings
There is another way to earn dollars and increase your cash flow in Millionaire City. This is by adding decorations in your city and constructing commercial buildings. Here is a guide and some tips to show you how you can earn from decorations and commercial structures.
Decorations
Decorations are available at the shop where you can purchase trees, gardens and fountains to not only increase your city’s aesthetic value but will help in increasing your rental income.
Each decorative item will indicate the bonus percentage, the plot size it needs for it to be added into your city, and the area of influence. The cost of each is also shown plus the number of experience points you will get when you build it. Most trees can be built on one plot. You can use this to fill up any small gaps in between houses or commercial buildings.
To maximize them, you have to build them on an area which you can surround more houses within its area of influence. Another option is to add a couple of items to surround a house or two. An example would be putting cypress and oak trees around a bungalow to increase its value to 12%.
Commercial Buildings
Constructing a commercial building adds to your overall income. The benefit of having them in your city is the fast collection time. Each has its own influence area which will dictate how much you can potentially earn.
To increase its own earnings, it is based on the number of tenants surrounding it and within its influence area. Since bigger houses can accommodate more tenants, it is logical to say that bigger houses surrounding these buildings can give you more income. Choosing a contract that will accommodate more tenants is also a factor to consider. As an example, let’s build a coffee shop.
It will earn you $45 per tenant and its area of influence is 7x7. If you have a bungalow near it and you choose the tourist contract, it will only give you 3 tenants x $45 totaling to $135. But, if you choose a pilot contract, it will give you 5 tenants x $45 totaling to $225. Let’s say, you build a luxurious townhouse near it, choosing the same tourist contract will provide 6 tenants, totaling to $270 instead of the initial $135.
A building that is currently being constructed within the area will not count in its overall earnings.
