Iron Man is basically everywhere right now. Iron Man 3 is hitting theaters on May 3, an officially licensed game of the same name just hit the App Store (we thought it was okay), and now the character has wiggled his way into Marvel: Avengers Alliance. Superheroes sure do have a lot of energy.

Keep an eye on the iron count in your blood, Marvel fans: Magneto has arrived in the latest chapter of the hit Facebook game Marvel: Avengers Alliance. All we can say is, “Welcome to die!”

Love Marvel: Avengers Alliance, but wish it had more mutants?  Well then you’re in luck!  This morning, the game received two new playable characters, both of whom proudly carry the X-gene.

They say a superhero game is only as good as its characters, and if we’re going by that measure, Marvel: Avengers Alliance is a great game that just keeps getting better.  Why?  Because of the constant onslaught of new heroes!

2012 has been both a nostalgic and innovative year for RPGs. There’s an old proverb that says March comes in like a lion, but goes out like a lamb That old proverb clearly doesn’t take global warming into account. Last week I was in shorts and a t-shirt. This week it’s calling for snow. Oh well – at least March had plenty of great video games for me to catch up on while I’m staying warm indoors!
