This has got to be the best Hidden Object game I have played in a very long time. The graphics are stunning, the game play is not so simple that you can just fly through this game. You actually have to think. It is a good length, actually I wish it went on forever. Looking forward to more like this. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Great great sequel. I spent an enchanting moment playing it. Even if it tested my patience, my eyesight and my computer mouse ! I'm also becoming a great fan of this type of HO game. Now would it be possible for the next one to have slighlty bigger pieces, please? Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Instructions should have their own page instead of the little birdie flying around and having to hit "nest" all the time. Graphics are as good as the first one, but I have issues with the handle of something being in 5 or 6 pieces...and the thing that really drives me crazy is the secret places where you'll find an item, the item size has no relationship to its real size in the game. Kind of a useless sort of thing, especially when the stars begin popping up to show you where it is... I really did look forward to this game release, but I'm not as happy with it as I'd like to be. I loved this game. Very addictive game play. Puzzles not too hard and not too easy. Great graphics. Great length. Can't say enough good things about this game. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

This game was decent. I found it short though, but not extremely short. The graphics were amazing and I LOVE the warewolf pictures and that but I hated how things were so easy to find. Everything stuck out like a sore thumb. Anyways good game overall, entertaining storyline. i liked it Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

This is a fine game. Good graphics, nice music, having some pieces of objects in areas that have to be opened, and accumulating inventory of objects needed are great features. But I deducted one star because of the tiny nondescript pieces of objects that can't be found without a hint. It's hard to imagine what the purpose of this could be. Only the unlimited recharging hint system (excellent feature) makes this game playable at all. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I really love this game!! Far better then ME1 ( which I bought some time ago). Challaging, finding, seeking and always trying to make combinations with the hidden items. A lot of viarity and new things quite different from the other usual HOG.. Okay sometimes a bit tiny but that didn't bother me..Where are we waiting for huh?? The new ME3!! Beautiful graphics. I didn't find this game fun at all. The pieces are too small and way too many for each item. I used the hints continually, as there is little direction as to where to go what to do,just a little blue hammer. Very frustrating game. I like to figure things out, but this was not intuitive play. Love a game where you want to finish..but it's that good, you don't want it to finish! A spade handle doesn't really need to be discected into 4 pieces....beautifully illustrated, great for the "grey" matter... bring on the next one. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

The first ME is one of my favorites so I bought this one the minute it became available on BigFish. I'd love to give it five stars because it's very well done except for the annoying background music loops but I have to deduct a star because of the huge number of tiny pieces of skinny sticks almost invisible in the background colors. I don't understand why game developers haven't yet figured out that a large percentage of their market is older people and some of us even wear bifocals. Fortunately, the ME hint system works well or I'd never have been able to get through this one. Otherwise, this game is marvelous. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

It was a very good, but couldn't give it 5 stars because I had to use the hints more then I liked doing. Used hints more then I have in any other game, so that was my only complaint, other wise graphics and game play were great! Mini puzzles were fun, and you're able to skip them if you get stuck! Great game where you have to use your head as well as your eyes (and with some of those pieces to find, boy do you have to use your eyes!) No timer meant that I felt no need to skip the minigames (some obvious, others not)or rush to use the hints. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I kept getting stuck when I had to change areas but didn't know why, or what I was supposed to do once I'd got there. That was frustrating, even though I managed to figure it out in the end. Lovely graphics. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

5 stars, but I agree that it's just too hard at times. It seems like the object of this game is to hide tiny pieces amongst even tinier pieces. Sometimes it was just perplexing because all of the items weren’t poorly rationed into bits and pieces. Some were logical. But most of the objects just don’t warrant that much dissection. They should really try and keep it to 2/3 pieces maximum and 4 in the most extreme circumstances. Though the hints are limitless, I found myself at times just waiting for the hint button to refill. The graphics are great. There are 32 different search scenes throughout 16 locations. I thought the first one was more enjoyable because it was less taxing. But overall, “Magic Encyclopedia: Moon Light” is a better game than its predecessor. I just hope for the 3rd version the developers arrive at a happy medium when it comes to level of difficulty and practicality. And I also agree that there should be a gem counter to let you know if you’ve collected all of those that were in a particular location. Another suggestion, because you often have to go back and forth so much, it would be nice to know where you needed to go to move forward. Because when I used the hint button sometimes the exit would sparkle and I would just keep going around in circles. That happened to me with the Egypt/Museum locations and it was really frustrating. I’m starting to absolutely loathe the idea of finding pieces. When it’s done well it can be pretty interesting. But at other times it can come off as a tad reckless. “Magic Encyclopedia: Moon Light” walks a thin line albeit successfully in the end. But it started to test my patience. I would definitely recommend it if you’ve played the first one. But be prepared, some items may be too small for even those that have good eyesight. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Too hard! Boy, this is a beautiful game and I love the gameplay, but it was just too hard. Some of the hidden items that you needed were so deeply hidden that you had to use hints to find them. Once you could find the item, figuring out what to do with it wasn't bad. But I was really disappointed. At least in similar games, they sometimes let you know how many more pieces are left or something along those lines. That would have made it better. I just found myself frustrated pretty much throughout. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

WONDERFUL! I have few complaints (unusual for me). Beautiful graphics, energetic music, moved quickly. There were a few tricky puzzles, but you can skip them at no penalty. Hints refill almost instantaneously with no searching for "?" in another scene. Zoomed right through the game. Everything had a reason that fit in with the theme of the game. Still can't figure out how we teleport across the globe in nanoseconds, but it's a GAME. Best one I have played this year. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Even better than Magic Encyclopedia: First Story! I have been eagerly awaiting the sequel and am very pleased with it. The hints system is much improved, and they don't slam doors on you everytime you change locations. There is a lot more depth to the locations and the interplay among finding items and using them is more complex. I highly recommend this one! (The only disappointment is that there is no indicator to tell you how many gems are at a location OR if you've picked them all up.) Now begins the wait for number III... If you enjoyed the first Magic Encyclopedia, prepare to continue the adventure. You begin at the spot where the first game ended and travel to wonderfully exotic locales for your searches. It is as beautifully crafted as the first game, and there are no disappointments. The hint system has been improved, and there is still no timer. I have not finished the game yet, but am fully enjoying myself. I am not thrilled with most of the mini-games (simply personal preference), but there is a "skip" available. Great fun, no bugs, gorgeous graphics, and lovely music. Can't ask for much more. Alawar has even given us a discount for the month of July: on their website, the new game is $6.99 and the combination of the two is $9.98. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

About halfway through it, and love it. Two improvements from the original game: the hints refill over (a short) time, rather than the user needing to hunt for question marks; and (so far) there are none of the "constellation" games that felt so much like busywork to me. Note: I've now finished. As with the previous game, the ending was a touch feeble. Also, unlike the previous game, I never found a way to tell whether I was collecting all the gems. One final quibble: some of the cutscenes went too fast to read the text. Still: a great game! Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Nowhere near as challenging as the first Magic Encyclopedia but still a good game. The first Magic Encyclopedia had that awful Matreshka doll game, which my brain can never comprehend! But loved it anyway. Moon Light was a bit too short. Still recommend it. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate
