    I totally enjoyed playing this game. However, the numbers wheel gave me great frustration. I chose this game because I am a visual person not fond of numbers. I had to resort to all the tricks to complete the puzzle thanks to other reviewers. If it had not been for gamezebo, I would have requested a refund. I look forward to the sequel.     this was another one of my favorite games I played it over and over had a lot of fun with it. good game and nice and long 2. it reminded me of azada and dream chronicles. I gave it a 5 cause it deserved a 5 Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

    This was such a beautiful game, I felt bad that it didn't get enough attention like Mystery Case Files and things like that. Magic Encyclopedia was beautiful, it had beautiful art, and very nice gameplay. I'd play the sequel in a heartbeat! Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

    I have to admit to you, my friends, that the first time around, I didn't like this game at all. I can't even tell you why.     Don't get me wrong: Magic Encyclopedia was just a potential game! | Pros: Amazing atmosphere because of music/audio. Absolutely cool 2D graphics/effects. Good direction. "Stress Out!" gameplay | Cons: Unoriginal concept, which is a messy mix from "find all pieces" Mortimer Beckett, "put 'em back in several screens" Dream Chronicles and "modern puzzles" Azada. Illogical story/destinations. Unexplained ending. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

    I enjoy this game when it works. As mentioned before, the time between chapters is slow and can be quite annoying. Also, there still seems to be a few glitches and I've had to exit and go back, i.e. I couldn't find where to hang the bell outside the church. Other than those few gripes, the game is a lot of fun!     Great. Please note that I played the game after the initial round of bugs were worked out so I didn't have any problems. Beautiful search scenes and great graphics. I hope there's a sequel. The only downside is that it's a little short. I hope the next one is a bit longer. But I liked finding the pieces of objects instead of the full objects. It made it more challenging.     An excellent game in the same league as Mortimer Beckett! As I waited, I had no problems with glitches and enjoyed the challenge and the ingenuity of the game. Some mini-games were hard (the sums, not maths skilled either!) but everything is at least connected with the story! Waiting for the second story now!     I thought this was a very good game. Plenty of hints, objects big enough and clear enough to see and it was just hard enough to make it interesting. Like other people I also only had about a hour left to play after the demo. I didn't care for the ending and feel they shouldn't leave you hanging just so you'll buy the next story. I would have given it higher points but it was way too short, which is a shame because it's one of the better HO games to come out lately. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

    Very enjoyable! I got mine in Sept., after the bugs were out. Length for me was about 4 hours. Very good mix of puzzles and hidden objects. All objects scene-relevant. Good hint system. Nice change from the usual. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

    I played this game after the bugs were fixed. I'm giving 3 stars only to encourage Alawar games because they have great ideas and make good games. With this one I'm dissappointed because it was too short. I did not realize I finished most of the game in the first hour which was free. Then I paid money to play another hour. I have to say I regret spending that money because there is no replay value in this game as well. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

    I really enjoyed this game. The objects, although some small, were relatively easy to find because the clarity of the picture was great. There were more than enough hints.     I love this game. It was not long enough, but I guess HO games can't be that long. I love the puzzles. It reminded me of Azada. The only thing is the last level I think got glitched. I did not have anywhere to but the wooden chicken. But after going crazy, I restarted and it was fine. I also knew that it was the end of the game. The ending could have been better or a little more challenging. The last round was easier than the first round. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

    I enjoyed this game. Stayed away when it just release after hearing lots of bugs with the puzzles. Just got it and finished it without any issue. Really like the sketches in between locations and loved the paintings of the places. The objects were broken and blend in quite well with the rest of the painting. Good story line, good music with right mood. Just find it kind of short. Hope there will be 2nd installment as all the amulets not used yet. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

    I have to say, I really did enjoy this. I downloaded it recently and needed something in which to immerse myself, and this was it. I found the game play challenging, but not overly so. I was glitch-free, so none of the game play was interrupted. I found the length a little on the short side, but not bad compared to other games of its type.     Great potential, but it was ruined by releasing a game they KNEW did not work. Being unable to complete the puzzles makes it impossible to move forward so you cannot finish the game. And they won't address it, won't return customer service requests and won't refund money. Stay away from this game and alawar all together. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

    I had a hard time to get the game to work on the computer.It kept coming on and going off. I really didn't get to play the game. I had to delete it before I could play it.     Terrible. Way too many problems that prevent you moving forward with the game. Th beta testers noted all the problems in the game, but Alawar didn't bother to listen and released a flawed game anyway. Not sure what the point of beta testing is then! Alawar have not responded to anyone as yet, on the glitches in the game. Don't waste your money. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

    It was fantastic up until I hit the glitch & couldn't play any more. Testing should have picked up a major problem like that, and it's uncharacteristicly lazy of Alawar. I look forward to someday playing a working version of the game. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

    Unfortunately I can't give this game more than one star because I cannot continue to play it. Not by choice but because of the glitch.     I loved playing this. It's a bit different to your normal hidden object game and has a few thought provoking moments. I loved the minigames too. Only downside is, it's not long enough.     Love it!!!!!!!!!! Some of the puzzles do puzzle me and wish there were some hints in certain sections. Grin!! Don't know how to paint the teepee. lol.     Too many glitches. No response from Alawar. Had to restart game when a new version came out. A glitch in the new version at Scythion Burial Mound. Sent another email, no response.
