    The first glitch was in Africa where you had to straighten the flag picture. The top and the bottom is fine but the middle does not show up at all. I wrote to quite a few people at Alawar last Monday and was informed very bluntly to wait until Friday five days later to download a new version.

    I downloaded new version but I had to start back at level one. After downloading I got to the Scythian Burial Mound and where you are to match identical signs the board is one big blank.

    Once again I contacted the US rep and also filed a tech support email and once again I am waiting for a reply. I did request a refund due to the fact that I have a great deal of trepidation starting all over AGAIN only to run into another glitch and starting from Level one AGAIN!!!!

    I will once again start another email campaign to Alawar and keep you informed. This company sure is different than BFG. The few problems I have had with a game from BFG was taken care of within hours. Also TeeGee was great when we had problems with Saqqarah.

    Hi EI, When I played the demo, I found that with the matching the symbols to the moving lines, the symbols wouldn't fill in. They just disappeared, when I clicked on the moving one. Didn't matter where I clicked on the moving symbol. Maybe it's another glitch.....

    Well before I body in cold water to get rid of all the steam I have from my anger I just want you to know I emailed five people plus the tech support. I just cannot believe this. Frustration isn't even the word for it. I sure hope chilitxgirl reads this before she too downloads the "new and improved version".

    If you need addresses go to the bottom page in Alawar and you will see a blue box and there is a line that says addresses just click that and the names of the "in charge" people are there plus when you get to the address page in the upper right hand corner is the tech support link.

    El, I'm glad that you are keeping us updated on the glitches in this game. I am not going to buy it from Alawar because of the glitches. Maybe it will show up on other sites in the near future. I know if I wait and buy it from Big Fish that I can get help it there are still glitches. Thank you!

    Well first of all I would like to say good morning to everyone. I'm new here. I have to agree with EIEIO. I've also e-mailed tech support regarding these glitches. I could e-mail the other representatives because the page isn't working this morning so I can't get the addresses. Needless to say this is probably the last time that I ever buy a game from Alawar. Which is a shame because they do have some interesting games. Magic Encyclopedia was a lot of fun but b/c of this glitch I can't play any further. Hope they fix them soon. How does a gamesite release a game with this many glitches?????

    This is not the first time Alawar has released a game with glitches. When Natalie Brooks: Secrets of Treasure House came out it had a lot of glitches.

    Welcome Bella, I hope to see you at the Gamezebo Gamers Breakfast Club, lots of eats and lots of good company.

    I wrote them and just said I wanted a refund. As I said they have the money and the heck with our problems. I will stick with BFG from now on.

    Still eats at the table so come on down!!!

    To say I am upset is putting it very mildly. Sure doesn't seem like a corrected version will be out. The game will be deleted from my computer and I hope that not too many people are playing with a game that has a glitch.

    Anybody want to have a "Kiss Your Money Good-Bye" party?

    I did send another email telling them I would like a refund because I do not like flushing my money down the toiled!!!

    Better go over and visit the breakfast crowd before I start foaming at the mouth because I am so angry. Need a few smiles.

    I have been reading all over the net this morning about problems with this game. I forgot to mention this morning that a few days back I got a response from someone in their tech department and they want me to send them a screen shot, kinda like "I gotta see this, because we don't belive that anything is wrong with our game". I'll let everyone know of the outcome, but I probobly won't get a response. EIEIO I subscribe to their newsletter and have NEVER recieved one!

  • Now, I just got this game

    Now, I just got this game today, and got to the Scythian Burial Mounds (the pleasure of being a stay at home mom, is you go through too many games!). And like most of you I got STUCK! And I'm not one for getting stuck. The fact that I had the empty cupcake pan with absolutely no symbols was very irritating. I still managed to get ALL of the symbols matched together, once you get the first one in the left hand corner the black holes that showed a match touching it - the symbols would appear. Now when I finished matching up ALL of the symbols and had an entire screen of symbols - IT still wouldn't recognize that I had completed the puzzle and made all the neccessary matches. Where are we sending these screen shots to the people that don't  believe there's a glitch?
