More like 3.5. I enjoyed this game at first, but became bored with it over time. As noted by others, many items are tiny in the extreme, even magnified. I did like the idea of placing the suspects by categories, and the little plots were interesting. Most of the hunts are "find the differences" which became tiresome for me after awhile. Really get your money's worth in terms of length. Too long for this gamer. Figure I'll get around to the final 3 episodes one of these days. Simply ran out of interest. I enjoyed this game a lot! The characters and dialogue were entertaining and the graphics were very well done. I really liked the mini puzzle games - they were all so different and each one reveals an important clue. The last case was my favorite - the ultimate detective work. Puzzle/mystery games are my favorite and this one is sure to please anyone! Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Can the commentary and you'll enjoy this long-playing game. The mini-puzzles are easy and only take a moment or two. The magnifier is GREAT, showing not pixelated blurs, but high-rez images in greater detail. For that this game gets an extra star. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

It had everything to be a smash hit: From story, characters to voices, music/audio and gameplay; except one: outdated graphics. What an unaccountable Legacy Interactive's idea! Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Great voice acting. Good story. Good variety of puzzles that are pertinent to the story. The ending ties all the other cases together nicely, and is very well done. I like that it doesn't just abruptly end. However, the puzzles are easy enough that I never felt challenged. You get/find so many hints, I never was worried about not finding everything (so of the stuff is so tiny & well-hidden, even with the magnifier). So it got tedious. A great hidden object game that have engaging stories and high production values. I agree with GZ reviewer that the outdated graphics was actually part of its charm. After all, isn't Sherlock Holmes suppose to be set in the 19th century? Also features a great variety of puzzles. Loved this one, two thumbs up! Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

This was a delightfully well done hidden object game. The voice acting was great. The finding of objects was usually possible w/o using the magnifying glass, and the magnifying glass worked elegantly to help spot those last few tricky items. The nicest part is that the stories are consistent, and the items being found contribute to the stories. I wish to congratulate the developers, and express the strong desire that they make another game as nice as this one. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

This game was fun. I liked that it was just seek and find all the time. There was nice variety. The stories were good. I wish there were more of them, but I usually always want more game play in a game that I like! Some of the puzzles were a little easy, but overall I thought they were better than in most games I have played recently. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I really liked this game. There are a lot of cases to solve and they all had good stories. I really liked that it wasn't obvious who the person who did it was. Some of the items I thought were too hard or too small on the screen, but you did have a magnifying glass to use to see things closer, so that made that part OK. I liked the variety of puzzles, but I wish some were harder since I could finish them pretty quickly. It's one of the better hidden object games I have played in a while. I love Hidden Object games and I tried very hard to love this game. I was on the Beta Test team and was disappointed in the overall appearance of the game. The graphics are poor, many objects are too difficult to find. When the lips are moving and the voice doesn't match, it seems cheap to me. The game had potential, but I didn't see much improvement when the final version was released. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Great game! I was fortunate enough to try the beta and was delighted to purchase the game when it published. The story lines are engaging and the mini-games in between are a nice touch. The elimination game got a bit monotonous after playing it for a while. Overall, another excellent game to add to the hidden object category. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Holmes rocks. I'm not usually a HO gamer, but the artwork of this one caught my eye. Once I started playing, the quick gameplay and enveloping storyline kept me coming back for more. Just try it, I'd be willing to bet you will fall in love much like I did. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Really nice to see a hidden object game where the objects are truly clues to the story. The lip synching was silly--they should have just dropped that. But I enjoyed the graphics and the variety, and the voice acting was very good. My only complaint was that it was a little too easy to guess the solutions. But a very nice addition to both Holmes games and the hidden object genre. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

It's great fun and although "addictive", helps you manage the urge to keep playing for hours (when more practical duties may be calling) be virtue of its construction. By having the sixteen distinct cases, it is much easier to stop and go take care of those mundane, but necessary things like laundry, housecleaning, grocery shopping, etc. It is very re-playable because the objects are in different places and you will have the satisfaction of perhaps improving your time for each case. Just did but not sure where it went so again- I liked the game very much. Even the mini-puzzles were not as hard as some of the other games. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys HO games. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I should just type ditto to the other two posts. A nice break from the usual HO games and enjoyed the different mysteries. As stated it is replayable. I didn't even get a headache from playing it like the other Sherlock Holmes game where I really got frustrated with a few levels. EI Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Very fun game. The stories were fun and it felt like you were solving the cases. I'm a fan of the Conan Doyle stories, so these seemed authentic. Graphics were good, music was OK. Overall it was very enjoyable. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

One of the best. A very good mixture between diffrent puzzles, a good and strong story, dialogs are good and to read them (or listen to them) can help you at the end. The character believeable. Only one play-modus, but you can replay every level and a lot of stuff will be diffrent then (items are the same, but hidden at another place) Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I would actually give it four and a half stars if I could. This was a nice long game with plenty of variety. I didn't want it to end! The mini games were pretty easy but that allowed my children to play along with me. I loved all the different stories and the different characters. I loved the ending of each story and how you had to assemble the characters and make deductions (my daughters personal favorite). I really hope they make a sequel to this but make the graphics more clear (some items were just silly tiny to find) and the minigames a bit harder. My only disappoint was that the bonus game was a let down. I had so much fun finding the "hat" in each story so I was looking forward to a bonus episode and instead got a game that took me two minutes if that to finish. All in all, bravo.
