    the game get to the main menu and into the level section.. once i click on the FIRST book and click start game the screen goes blank and the game closes...I have a Brand new Dell i have DirectX full updated, my codecs are new, when i double click the icon the blue legacy opening comes on smoothly and drops me in the main menu then when i click play it goes into that little book room, I click on the first book and start game... then the program shuts down.. anyone have any Ideas?     I'm so sorry--I know that must be frustrating for you! It's an excellent game, though, so I hope you get it working. Where did you get the game from? It sounds like you may need to contact their customer support.

    Good point I bought the Cd from walmart... I usually don't have problems with these type of games loading ... IDK
