Calling all puzzle, platform, and adventure fans (not to mention people who just like things that are completely outlined in dark shadows)! Playdead’s Limbo is out now on iPhone and iPad for $4.99. The game helped usher in a new era of indie games when it was first released back in 2010, and still holds an incredibly high regard as far as indie games are concerned even today.

Newest Humble Bundle will blow your brain box with awesome!

Since its inception, the Humble Bundle has increasingly become the hub for the “who’s who” of indie gaming, offering oodles of great games for a set-your-own-price point you just can’t resist. And personally, during the release of Humble Bundle IV, I thought it couldn’t get any better (I mean, come on, Bit.Trip Runner and Machinarium!?). How foolish of me. How very, very foolish.

Is Playdead considering a mobile port of Limbo?

How do you feel about thick mists, gigantic spiders that prey on children, and little boys who wander through deadly black-and-grey purgatories with their eyes glowing like unworldly foglamps? If you answered "Man, I am all about that," then Playdead might have a career for you. Going by a job listing on Gamasutra.com, it's possible that the Denmark-based studio is looking for someone to help them port last year's indie hit, Limbo, onto mobile platforms.

Limbo Review

Limbo is a 2D side-scrolling puzzle game where you’ll move left and right, jump and climb, avoid dangers and solve puzzles using levers and pushing crates around. There’s no score, unlimited lives, no health, no continues and only takes about 3 hours to complete. While these are the facts, they still don’t get to the heart of what it “feels” like to play it - and that's what makes the game so unique.
