Beautiful. Mysterious. Challenging, but not too hard. Others have complained that it's too short, but it's just right for the level of work that went into the game. Reminds me a lot of the Myst series in that not too much is explained, you have to figure out things on your own. Eagerly awaiting the sequel. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Loved this game! It was gorgeous and a lot of fun. Hard but not too hard, and just so pretty. I was a big fan of Glyph and liked having the imagery and concept extend into this HO/puzzle game. I hope there is a Kuros sequel soon! Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

a thoroughly enjoyable, engrossing game! great graphics, voice acting, concept, etc. its actually 4.5 stars. what i didn't like was that you'd only get a few hints for the entire game but i ended up not even having to use them, objects were easier to find compared to other HOG where the objects are miniscule & the screen soooo dark; you actually get to see an outline or a picture of what you're looking for, so that really helped a lot. there is no option to skip the puzzles (made me finish the game a lot longer, lol); puzzles are actually good exercises for the brain, but since i'm no good at them, i would at least like the option of skipping them & go back to them later. i couldn't even wait for it to come out at bigfishgames & bought it immediately from sandlot. definitely, great value for my money. This is a great game. Love the adventure and HO combination. Kinda keeps you on the edge of your seat not sure what to expect which is nice in these days of too much repetition in a lot of games. You have to really think through the puzzles which is frustrating, but a real plus when you complete it. Thanks Sandlot for a great game. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

This game was such a nice and unexpected surprise. There have been a few games like that this year "Wandering Willows," "Emerald City Confidential," and I can comfortably add "Kuros" to that list. I'm really getting spoiled by some of these adventure/hidden-object games. And "Kuros" has left me wanting more than I'll probably ever get. The game isn’t long. But "Kuros" handily did in one game what "Dream Chronicles" did in 3. For me, that's the closest match. Given the high resolution of the graphics in "Kuros," I'm not surprised by the length. Everything is so beautifully rendered with an array of colors. Sandlot has built its name on the "Cake Mania" dynasty, but here's hoping that "Kuros" gets the sequel treatment, also. I can't downgrade the game for being short because it's executed at such a high level. What's important to me is whether the goal that was set up at the outset is accomplished and whether the resolution is thoughtful. And "Kuros" does all of that within its own limitations and boundaries. There are 5 main realms: wood, fire, water, metal, and aether . And each of them has sub locations which includes a corresponding glyphstone that you have to repair by completing a puzzle. 16 sub locations in total. There are interesting characters/guides that help the main character Katya along her journey. One nice thing, once you complete the game you can go back to the various locations and just look around and take everything all in. The only shortcoming is probably the hint system. You have to collect what the game calls “chromatic lenses” in order to use the hints. I don’t think there’s a skip option for the puzzles either. Although, I did come across a “scrying orb” which can be used to solve a puzzle. Despite all of that, I was able to make it through without a walkthrough and utilizing few hints. So perhaps the length was an advantage. But this is definitely one of the best games that I’ve had the pleasure of playing this year. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I am pretty much an intermediate level player of this type game and I really enjoyed it overall. Likeable characters; very imaginative and well-drawn scenes; easy to navigate around the map once you get the hang of the procedure; hunts logically connected to plot and items fairly placed; beautiful scenery and non-irksome musical score. Definitely needs a better hint system. Would be improved by letting you know if you have at least found everthing in one scene. I found the glyph puzzles time consuming - and there were LOTS of them; otherwise, good mix of puzzles with good level of difficulty. Next release needs better instructions/examples, as others have said. Overall, really had a good time playing this one and was good buy IMO. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I liked this game was challenging but not impossible. The key is to keep looking for the map pieces. I collected them at the beginning of each round as much as possible... the worked on the puzzles knowing I could move on when I solved it. Can't wait for Kuros II! This is a really great game. Lots of diversity and challenge. I think all levels of gamers will enjoy it. There are aspects which are difficult to figure out but give it time, it'll soon balance itself out. Some things can be frustrating but hang in there. It will be worth your time and effort. Amazing puzzles, but I found the game itself to be a little to slow paced to keep me involved. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate
