Increase Animal Population through Mating

It gets lonely when you have only few animals in your jungle. Not to say you need to fill it up that it becomes over populated, but enough to keep them happy. Taking care of wild life is a huge responsibility and some animals might reach extinction if we don’t help in the circle of life. Here are ways to increase your population through mating.

Adopt First

We all know that we can adopt an animal by purchasing it in the store. You can do this when you have a new animal that has been unlocked. Make sure you choose a girl and a boy so that you can pair them when they reach adulthood.

Mating Process

Before you decide to pair two animals, select an animal and check their stats. Two things you have to check: 1) if it is an adult and 2) if they can mate. Some may have been paired recently and a timer will appear that will show when they can mate again.

To have two animals mate, you will incur some costs but it’s cheaper than adopting them. Call it a discount. When you click on the heart icon, point to an adult animal and it will tell you to choose a boy (or girl). If you select a girl, it will highlight the animal in red. You then have to select a boy and choosing it will highlight it in blue. The amount you will spend for them to mate will also appear.

When successful, a stork will appear to deliver the baby. It is always a surprise when a baby animal is born because you don’t know whether you’re going to get a boy or a girl.

Lastly, before you start the mating process, check if your jungle can accommodate newborn animals. If you start by mistake, you will receive a message saying that your jungle is over populated. You can either expand it or buy another jungle.
