Reminded me a bit of Cake Mania, but honestly, I liked this game better. Cake Mania was a little too slow to me, even though it's one of my favorite games. Jessica's Cupcake Cafe, however, is right up there with Cake Mania. The game is a bit faster, and the gameplay is different from what you'd play in a lot of other Time Management games. I'll give it 5 stars. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

In the spirit of the game “Cake Mania,” I might actually prefer this over the original. “Jessica’s Cupcake Café” is a little bit more ambitious than the original “Cake Mania.” It’s more rigorous. Although, it can be repetitious at times. But it’s a valiant effort. In “Jessica’s Cupcake Café” you start out by making 1 cupcake, then 2, 3, and 4. The real challenge is that customers can order multiple cupcakes plus beverages. One neat aspect, before each level you’re presented with the graphics for what cupcakes will be sold in the shop that day. The cool thing is that you can alter it and create your own variation. Each cupcake has three parts: cake, frosting, and topper. And you can mix and match. I thought the easiest thing to do for the sake of memory was to match the colors of the cake, frosting, and topper when possible. There was just a lot variety when it came to the toppings like baseball glove and mitt, Christmas tree, pumpkin, teddy bear, stars, heart, car, sunflower, and more. Another challenge was that you only had 2 ovens, 2, cupcake machines, 2 frosters, and 2 toppers. That was the maximum. Other shop enhancements included a TV (like one in “Cake Mania”), coffee machine, water bottles, milk, hot chocolate, and a candy machine ( to make customers happy). Another challenge, customers would ask for custom orders of a dozen, the whole pan. It’s much more spontaneous than your average time-management game because the customers have a lot to pick from. It doesn’t have the extensive variety that like “Emily’s Taste of Fame Does,” but for this theme it’s more than the norm. There are 56 levels, 7 each location plus a bonus level. 8 shop locations which includes a separate one for the bonus rounds. The locations themselves could be more distinct, but they were very colorful. If you liked the original “Cake Mania,” then I would recommend “Jessica’s Cupcake Café.” Here’s hoping for a sequel! Jessica's cupcake is a suitable time management game with that unexpected customer to foil your thought-out formula of movements that you had going to make, bake and decorate the cupcakes. Make sure you use the bonuses that certain customers give you to help make extra money especially for the upgrades. They really help quite a bit. Didn't realize this until my second time w/playing the demo. Real-life cupcake recipes though never tried any of them. I like the part where you can design your own cupcakes to sell 'cause sometimes it is hard to see the diffence in certain colors of the dough or just to make it easier for you to remember which button to click. Mini-games included. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I was surprised at this game, I'm an old hand at time management games -especially food related once - and I first I though it would be something like cakemania. In fact, after playing the first couple of levels I even thought it was too easy, but just when I began to think that the game began to get more and more complicated and I was hooked. It has cute graphics, a nice gsmeplay, and though it gets progressively harder, it's not impossible to reach perfect scores. Also, a bonus for all bakers out there: it gives you the recipes for the cupcakes!!! Which I think it's a sweet touch. Loved it Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I like this game. Although it is typical of this type of game, the methods are a little different and so makes it interesting. It goes at a nice pace. I also like the fact that this has a cash register so you don't have to run around picking up coins here and there. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

It is a time management that is hectic i believe. The best part of the game is the recipes that are in the game that you can unlock! Can't wait to try one :) And that isnt saying game play isnt good. Infacti think game play is great, dont have to rebuy up grades every 5-10 levels and that is Always a plus to me. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Similar to Cake Mania, only with cupcakes instead. You can choose to sell the game generated recipes or design your own before the start of each level (a nice touch). Upgrades are rather expensive, and don't always seem to be that effective. It tends to get rather frantic, but the customers have a pretty good patience level, so it doesn't get too stressful. Overall, at least as far as I have gotten (about half way through), it is an engaging cooking time management game with a enough in it to keep it interesting to the end. Very good game. Similar to Cake Mania, but better. The graphics are bright and cartoony, and the music matches the graphics. It is fun making cupcakes, there many recipes (some are too odd) that can also be printed to bake in real-life, and you can make your own recipes. There are many levels and locations, and a fun mini-game after completing a location. Pretty easy bakery goal, but challenging expert score. Full of nice touches. As I said, some recipes are too odd, and you might get bored pretty quickly, but all in all it is a fine game. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate
