I wanted a hidden object game that would occupy my mind without taxing it, and this game was a great fit. Its difficulty level and replayability are similar to the early Mystery Case File titles. I liked the variety in the style of hidden object scenes. The apartment decorating bit was pointless but goes by quickly - just don't spend too much on that minigame if you want to buy extra clues. I don't normally enjoy spot the difference scenes, but these weren't too bad - especially when replaying, as they are always the same. The dialogue was corny, as in most casual games, but if you like laughing at poor English translations and grammatical errors, you might actually get a kick out of reading it. There is a too-much-clicking penalty, but it was so mild, I only got it once and can't recall offhand what it was. One minor complaint: On the hidden object outline scenes, if you go too quickly, you'll have to wait for the game to sketch in the next items on the list. Also, there are a few translation errors, as is common in such games - for example, an "order" is what I would call a "badge". I liked the bonus that requires you to find three objects in a certain order - if you're about to click some random object that's not on your list, the game will warn you that you're about to screw up. That's helpful if you're clicking rapidly when the challenge appears. I liked the hint system - one free hint on each scene, then you can buy extra hints. Plus, I love art, and enjoyed playing a game based around beautiful paintings. Overall, a fun game for nights when my brain is tired. I am glad that I purchased it.
