Hey Robin, Sure wish I could help you out with this one but I've never played it. I hope that someone comes along and has some answers for you.Margie B

I'm also having troubles figuring out the power ups, and it looks like people on Big Fish Games forums aren't understanding them either. I know the lyre seems to shuffle things, though I think it's just the same as the random shuffle that happens when you have no more moves.
The ones I can't figure out are the hammer - it just doesn't seem to do anything - I've tried clicking it first, clicking the tile first, etc. I also can't figure out what the snowflake does.
If anyone knows what the various power-ups do, then please let me know. Here are the ones I've figured out so far:
Hourglass - gives you some more time

Rain - randomly wipes away some tiles
Lyre - shuffles tiles or gives you new ones, not sure which it's doing

When you complete a Magic Card, a new Power Up gets added, but unless I missed something, there's never any explanation of how it works.
OK, I get that not all power ups are available on all levels.
I get that when a power up IS available, matches of a specific object will fill that power up faster, and that this object may vary from level to to level. So if the freeze snowflake has a seahorse next to it, any matches with seahorses will start to refill it. I understand that part.
But I still can't figure out what the power up with the Lyre/Musical note does. It's some kind of shuffle, but is it just a random shuffle?
Also, is there anywhere that explains just what each of the power ups does?
