Did not like this game. It was slow and the mini-games were boring. The levels were uneven; some taking a couple of minutes while others requiring a retry. The ending was lame and obvious. Hints cost way too much time. And some of us are getting tired of games with women as central characters. Ar casual game developers trying to overcompensate for the overwhelmingly male oriented traditional games? Is there such a thing as a FPS with a female main character? Too frustrating in places to rate 4, but quite unusual and interesting so really better than only 3. Also have the opinion that the music, atmosphere and lighting are all creepy and lend a strange atmosphere that was a bit unsettling. I found the game hard to play some times (should have been more skips IMO) and it suffered (at least on my display) from the old worn out "let's make it hard to find by making it invisible in a really dark place on the screen" strategem. And yes, some of what to do didn't make sense and some games should have allowed a shade more time (esp at the end). But I agree I liked the game more and more as I went along and think it is worth it to play it out. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Not love on first sight, but the game grew on me. The atmosphere of the game is creepy and I would not recommend it for children. You have to solve HO scenes in adventurelike point and click manner. You interact with inventory objects and hot spots on the screen. As you find yourself in a nightmare setting, the use of the items is not obvious. The more it hurts to be fined a time penalty for any wrong click, especially in the higher levels, where time is precious. You even get a time penalty for clicking the right inventory item on the right hot spot, if you did not click on the hot spot first to open it in a small window. Not all hot spots open a window, but I recommend to click on them first without holding the item all the same, just in case. I liked the variety of minigames. Some are well known, some quite original. I had fun playing them. When I found out how to play them, that is. The rules are not always clear. If you study them too long, you loose time again. Without these flaws HS:TH could have been a really good game. As it is it´s good enough to pass some time with it. Try it for yourself. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Games ok. Too much guessing. Some things just don't seem to fit. What's a hairbrush got to do with printer paper? And, I can't seem to get past level 29. The numbers etched on the closet door are hard to read. Nothing I tried will open the brief case, and why would a bra (I'm assuming since I can't open the case and the bra is the last clue) be in a brief case? Does anyone know what the numbers are. It looks like 842 or 812, can't really tell. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate
