Hi, the closest I can tell you (it's been quiet awhile since I played it) is -the octopus is in the Amazon River level and the sword is int the Chichen Itza Ruins level. Don't remember exactly where (I just wrote down which levels they were all in). Hope this helps. LindaB

Octopus is on lower right side on base of tree in Amazon. Sword is a fencing sword, left side leaning up against tree in Chichen Itza ruins.

Thank you for the information. I found the walkthrough but it only gives the location for 16 of the 18 Special Items. I was just going to ask for help for the last 2 ones. Thanks again. You have been a big help.

Hi Barb ..sorry that you didn't come out.. I finished the game a few days ago and the tips LindaB and psbarth47 gave were the right ones.
Anyway do hope you'll find the last 2 ones...Good luck.

Dolphingirl, above this white page is a green tab that says tips and tricks, next to the video tab. Click on it and it will take you to a walk through of this game. You can click on the screen shot pictures to enlarge them. You should be able to find your answer there. Enjoy the game.
