i get to gideon's door and the handle swings around but the door doesn't open. is there something else i'm supposed to do? i love the game but am stuck here.

verbiage, if you put the handle under the moon, heart, star and eye at left you should be able to click on the handle and the door will open. Check back in this forum and there is a walk through link to a walk through of this game and you should be able to see if you have done all the steps.

Big Fish is trying something new in order to give us a preview of the really large file games. The demo only goes to a certain point even if you finish it before the hour is up. They do this so download time for the demo won"t be so long. If you noticed it said you would be playing a sample. They try to set the length based on what they believe an average player would complete in 1 hour.
Some people seem highly irritated about this. I am just glad they are making an attempt to let us play a sample of a large file game. I have refused to buy other large files when they don't offer a demo.

I have really enjoyed the game UNTIL NOW!! I am trying to put the cement squares on the headstone and all the lights are ON! The bottom won't open, and I can't get the dang gloves. What am I doing wrong??

Hi Mjr look at the symbol on the stone and count how many sides the symbol has then put the stone in the corresponding slot. Example: triangle 3 side put in the slot with the number 3

Thanks Granny for getting back to me. I have them in the order that it shows in the walkthrough and all the lights are lit but the drawer still won't open. I'm so confused!! I can't get them out now, to try it again. What a dang mess!

You don't have to make your screen smaller to access the walkthru while playing the game. Just bring up the walkthrough and the game then you can toggle back and forth. Just hit alt and tab at the same time - quickly.

OK. I have the blowtorch and the leash. I tried using the blowtorch on the newspaper dispenser like someone else said and I got the message that I'd burn it up using that. Do I have to find a coin in order to open it? I went on to the talent stage scene but nothing happens when I click on the piano. What's up with this?

Greenguppy, Mortimer #3 is suppose to be out the middle of Novemeber and MCF around Thanksgiving. Lets hope they are good.
