Please do not make it a "timed" game or at least offer an option to play untimed.

Hidden Expedition back underwater! and about time too! I really do hope that most of this game takes place under the sea - there was something haunting and atmospheric about the first Hidden Expedition (Titanic) that I think was a result of the undersea setting - in many ways it's still my favorite hidden object game. Cannot WAIT for this one - and when is it coming out, again?

I have GOT to have this game....I have all the others and have Mastered all of them and This is Soooo exciting...When will it come out? When, When, When?

Granny, thanks for posting the video. The game looks gorgeous. This is my favorite games series, yes love it even more than MCF.
I do hope it will be out next week.

Granny, with all the waiting for very good long announced games, we´ll be in need of a begging emoticon! LOL

According to the trailer it seems to me an adventure game rather a hidden object game like the previous ones. Is it a totally new direction in the series or am I wrong?

Interesting that there's absolutely no mention of this on the BFG website. Don't hold your breath, origami. I'll bet this is going to release in Nov for the holidays.

I agree with you, ceangell. I checked out BFG and it's nowhere to be found. Unless it's hiding behind one of those online games that nobody plays. Either that or it got lost in "The Devil's Triangle".

kris,
I accidentally stumbled upon info about it on the BFG website. I was looking at a list of all the HO games and clicked on HE Titanic (which I already have). In the description area was the HE website address. When you go to that, Devil's Triangle is listed and has a bit more info plus the trailer. Here's the site address to save a lot of clicking: http://www.hiddenexpedition.com/hidden-expedition-devils-triangle-game.h.... I still think that it will release in November for the holidays. The previous HE games have released during the summer. I'm saving one game credit for Devil's Triangle.

go 2 top of sub in side and you will see big fish in window hit on that and the big fish has all the stuff on it or arouind it.

Thank you that helped . But can you believe that I need more help. What are you suppose to do after you get the engine started?
Send a Kudo Post a reply Quote & Reply -
I've also gotten stuck at exactly the same places! I think this Hidden Expedition game is more like an adventure game in that it's not as intuitive nor does it flow as easily as most casual games. A lot of lost and clueless bumping around here that made playing it seem more like an effort and that caused a lack of continuity in the game and storyline. People who like adventure games, though, should like it!

is that the part where you have 2 put the engine in the capsule 2 go 2 the island

HELP! What do you do after putting the engine together?
After you have done the power coupler and the sonar puzzles, go back down to the engine room. You will then have to replace all the parts into the escape pod to get to the island.

this is some game it is a big download and so far I made it 2 island and there is alot 2 do on island.

I totally agree with you Lauder. It is a very fun and challenging game. I am on the island too.

To All,
For all of you that get “Stuck” in the game at some point: Go to the page on Big Fish that you downloaded the game from. You will see a “Link” to the Blog Walkthru (not the Strategy Guide) for the game. The Walkthru is free, the Strategy Guide is not. Our own Margie (Purple Eye) wrote the Walkthru and it is just like our T&Ts and I might add a Good one. Just make a copy of it and keep it handy while you play the game. When you get to something that you just can’t figure out or just need that “little clue” as what to do next you should be able to find the answer there.
That is what Judy and I do with all of our games that we get from Big Fish. Hope everyone has fun playing the game, it is really a good one. It is right up there in quality with the other games in this series and we are having a “Blast” playing it. From some of the comments that I read above, you should know that this is not a “straight” HOG. It is what they are calling an iHog (I think that is the term) or “Interactive Hidden Object Game”, these days. It has HO, story, adventure, mood music, puzzles and things that you can interact with. Most of all “It is Fun”; good gameplay, quality production and great graphics. What we have come to expect from Big Fish and best of all it only cost us $7 bucks.
Everyone Have Fun & Happy Gaming,
OldMan44

I have to agree with all that Oldman said!! So far a great game!! I, too, have used Margies walkthrough, a couple of times!!

Hi all,
I am totally fine linking out to a walkthrough on Big Fish esp if it's from Margie, click here to check out the Hidden Expedition Devil's Triangle walkthrough on BFG.
As I have mentioned before, we're an editorial and news source site for casual games, so our philosophy (unlike other game forums) is to allow link outs to anything that is helpful to game players like you (no spam, of course).
We're working on review and walkthrough now, we just got the game same time as you did.
The way Gamezebo works is that our speed getting walkthroughs up depends on when a game company gives us their game. The sooner they give to us, the sooner we can work and post our guide to help you.
We'll make sure our guide for this game is super detailed for you!
Best,
Joel

I hate to disagree with OldMan44, but I do not find this game particularly "fun." Speaking only for myself, I don't like to have to use walkthroughs as they disrupt the continuity of the game for me and make playing them seem more like "work" than "fun!" While I enjoy the mental challenges, I greatly prefer casual games that are intuitive to play and that flow easily from challenge to challenge. Because there is so much opportunity for getting lost or stuck or just bumping around, I would characterize this game as "adventure lite" (i.e., along the lines of Return to Ravenhearst, but without the psychological thriller/horror storyline) as opposed to what I would consider to be a more true IHOG (i.e., Hidden Expedition: Amazon or Flux Family Secrets.) I absolutely agree, however, that at $7 it's a terrific value for those who like adventure games!

I bought the game. I have to say I am disappointed in this sequel. I guess Amazon spoiled me for this game. It seems so disjointed to me. The graphic are great as usual but I guess I just don't care for the storyline.

I have bought the game, played it and found it a very good game. the puzzles are good, only the puzzles in the power engine tower with all those music instruments were a little difficult. I had to look in the blogwalkthrough how to line up some things but the pianopuzzle was very easy. only the end of the story, I don't know what I must think of it. strange fact is that we never have to deal with the pirates only with a crazy inventor and his daughter.

I played the hr demo, I also am disappointed. Didn't keep my interest and was very boring. I purchased all of the HE games, but I am not going to purchase this one. Not exciting at all. BFB
