There's nothing tricky about it--the list just shows the current most popular downloads. It's not a quality comment. At this point most of the people who want Return to Ravenhearst have already downloaded it, so naturally it's going to fall down the list.
It's the same kind of statistic as Amazon's current sales ranking or a Neilsen television rating for one week. All it's telling you is what other people are looking at today, not what's the best title.

Downloading is not the same as buying. I thought the BF list was supposed to indicate sales. ? I might be wrong there. My point is that I think they might be giving extra weight to exclusive games, when calculating the top 10. I don't think it is a true representation. Just a gut feeling.

It says it's "top downloads," which I believe counts free trials as well. I honestly don't see anything surprising in it. It's always the newest Hidden Object Games near the top.
Perhaps Picman will be around and can explain which interpretation is correct. I agree the site doesn't give the full explanation of what it's based on, so perhaps I'm wrong in assuming it's just download popularity for a given day. But that's certainly what it looks like.

I agree with Robin, BF is Up Front about what the List is about, IF you READ the entire page. Judy and I were going to buy the game...Then we read GZ's review and some of the comments on here and decided that the game was too short. Since we have a limited budget we passed on this one and spent our money on one with more replay value. Besides, we are still having fun replaying RTR and some of the others we have bought this month.
Trabadour, BF is just trying to create a "buzz" for their games, an honest advertizing practice. All sucessful companies do that. By the way, Welcome to Gamezebo and please continue to read the Reviews and comments here before buying a game from anyone. You will always get an honest opinion as to wether a game is worth buying or not.
