This walkthrough includes tips and tricks, helpful hints, and a strategy guide on how to complete A Gypsy's Tale: The Tower of Secrets.

Walkthrough

A Tutorial is available at the start of the game. You may skip it, but when playing the game for the first time, we recommended that you take the tutorial.

As you consult this guide, you’ll find that the sequence of events may differ from what you are playing depending on the choices you make. If you’re having difficulty following this guide, try using the Search function instead. At the top of this page, enter the name of the item you need help with, such as “apple” or “gown”. Select “Only this game” then click the Search icon.

Part 1: Exploring the Entrance

TOWER MAZE ENTRANCE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Pick up the Map and the Crystal Bag.
  • Zoom into the bushes to find the Monk’s Note. Click anywhere outside the note to exit.
  • Collect the 2 crystals. Your location will now be posted on the map.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Shears and find 4 related items. Once you find one, put it in the object circle.
  • Use the Shears in your inventory to cut the vines on the door.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Raven Medallion and find 8 birds. One of them is hidden in a niche in a wall, found with your magnifying glass.
  • Click on the Key above the door, but you’re told that it’s beyond your reach.
  • Click on the rightmost area of the scene to go right.

FOREST COTTAGE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 5 crystals.
  • Place the Raven Medallion on the pedestal slot.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Cane and find the 4 symbols.
  • The door to the cottage is locked, and the combination is only available at a much later part in the game.
  • Go left to the Tower Maze Entrance.

TOWER MAZE ENTRANCE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Use the Cane on the Key to knock it down to the ground.
  • Click on the Key and find the 3 flowers.
  • Use the Key on the door.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Puzzle: Assemble the parts of the sun.
  • Click on a piece and move it to the right spot, then click again to drop it. You won’t be able to drag the pieces or to rotate them.
  • Enter through the doorway.

Part 2: Restoring the Fountain

COURTYARD

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 3 crystals.
  • Use the Shears to cut away the 3 vine hedges.
  • Zoom in on the tablet on the door to get instructions on restoring the fountain.

  • Click on the Fountain and find the 4 fountain parts.
  • Click on the bottom of the scene to exit the Courtyard and return to the Forest Cottage.
  • You may also use the map to jump directly there.

FOREST COTTAGE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the striped Rag on the window and find 6 other rags.
  • Return to the Courtyard.

COURTYARD

  • Wipe the Fountain with the Rag.
  • Click on the symbols at the base of the Fountain to open up a puzzle.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Puzzle: Using the arrows, scroll through the symbols.
  • Find the symbols that match the ones displayed on the Courtyard wall. See solution above.
  • Go through the hole in the wall.

GNOME HIDEOUT

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 3 crystals.
  • Click on the Empty Bucket and find the 5 pieces of wood.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Take the Empty Bucket from your inventory and fill it with water from the Pond.
  • This is the first of many times that you will be refilling the bucket from this pond.
  • Go through the hole again to go back to the Courtyard.

COURTYARD

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Take the Filled Bucket and pour it into the Fountain.
  • Click on the Crank and find the 4 crank parts.
  • Click on the Crank again to turn it and make the water flow.
  • Zoom in on the tablet on the door to play a puzzle.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Puzzle: Click on pairs of bugs that match, until all are gone from the board.
  • Enter the open doorway.

Part 3: Cultivating the Vegetables

VEGETABLE GARDEN

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 5 crystals.
  • Use the Shears to clear the wall of 7 vine bushes.
  • Zoom in on the tablet on the gate to get instructions on restoring the garden.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • First, pull out all the withered vegetables.
  • Move the cursor around the scene and a hand icon will appear over the plants that need to be uprooted.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Next, pick up the pack of Corn Seeds and the 5 piles of seeds scattered around the area.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • On the left wall is a diagram of where the various seeds should be planted.
  • Follow this guide and place the seeds in their respective plots in the garden.
  • Go back to the Gnome Hideout and refill your Bucket with water from the Pond, then return to the Vegetable Garden.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Pour the water from the Filled Bucket into the Watering Can, and find the 3 garden items.
  • Also, click on the Gloves and find the 3 plants. You’ll need the Gloves later.
  • Take the Watering Can.
  • Click on the 5 visible soil plots to water them (the tomatoes don’t seem to need water).
  • The soil will darken to let you know that you’ve watered an area correctly.
  • Exit the garden and go to the Gnome’s Hideout.

GNOME’S HIDEOUT

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Axe and the 3 bugs. One of them is hidden inside a window.
  • Exit and head back to the Tower Maze Entrance.

TOWER MAZE ENTRANCE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Take the Axe from your inventory and chop down the wooden fence at the bottom of the screen.
  • Click on the down arrow to enter the forest.

TREEHOUSE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 2 crystals.
  • Click on the Treehouse door to solve a puzzle.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Puzzle: Complete the drawing of the acorn.
  • Click on a piece and move it to the right spot, then click again to drop it. You won’t be able to drag the pieces or to rotate them.

  • Enter the Treehouse to look around, but there’s nothing to do there for now.
  • Pick up a bottle of Green Paint, which you’ll use later.
  • Exit the Treehouse and go left. Going up the path will take you back to the Tower Maze Entrance.

FOREST

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 2 crystals.
  • Use the Cane in your inventory to reach the Beehive in the tree, and then find the 4 bugs.
  • With your Gardener Gloves, pick up the fallen Beehive.
  • You may go up the path to explore the Hamlet of Brenn, but there’s not much to do at the village for now. We’ll revisit that later.
  • Go right to head back to the Vegetable Garden, or jump there using the map.

VEGETABLE GARDEN

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Take the Beehive from your inventory and hang it on the branch of the tree.
  • Click on all 6 vegetables to harvest them. Move the cursor around the scene and a hand icon will appear over the plants that need to be collected.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Harvest Statue and find the 6 statue heads. One of them is hidden inside the basket, and one inside a blue vase.
  • Take each vegetable from your inventory and place it on the Harvest Statue.
  • Click on the tablet on the gate to play a slider puzzle.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Puzzle: Slide the tiles around to complete the picture of the sun as shown above.
  • The bottom right corner of the puzzle will be empty.
  • First, complete the top row of the puzzle first, and then the second row. Next, work on the 4 tiles on the bottom left, and finally, end with the 3 on the bottom right.
  • When you have a tile that stubbornly refuses to go into the right place, take that tile, together with the tile that should be adjacent to it, and move them out to the bottom of the puzzle.
  • Shuffle those tiles around and get another tile in between them, so that their sliding order gets reversed. Then move them in the opposite order, back to where they belong.
  • Go through the open doorway.

Part 4: Obtaining the Deed

DARK FOREST

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 2 crystals.
  • Check the door at the top of the stairs.
  • Go up the path to the gazebo.

ENCHANTED GAZEBO

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 4 crystals.
  • Click on the bag of Fairy Dust on the pedestal and find the 4 fairies.
  • Pick up the bottle of Red Paint.
  • You can click on the lever, but it won’t do anything for now.
  • Exit by going downwards to the Dark Forest, and down again to the Haunted Cottage.

HAUNTED COTTAGE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 6 crystals.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Doorknob and find the 5 doorknob parts. One of them is hidden behind the gravestone.
  • Enter the cottage.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Talk to the ghost about the door in the Dark Forest. She asks you to get the deed of her cottage.
  • Pick up the bottle of Purple Paint from the shelf.
  • Exit the cottage. Go back to the Forest where a boy is fishing in the pond.
  • From there, go up the path to the Hamlet of Brenn.

HAMLET OF BRENN

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 2 crystals.
  • Talk to the villagers. Enter the Church and chat with the Monk that sent you on this mission.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Enter the General Store. Click on the bottle of Yellow Paint on the top shelf and buy it for 5 crystals.
  • Exit to the Hamlet and enter the Realtor’s Office.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the realtor, Margaret Tyler, and find the 4 writing supplies.
  • Talk to Margaret and she’ll ask you for a Pot of Gold.
  • Click on her again and she’ll also give you the combination to the Forest Cottage.
  • This combination is randomly generated and will be different every time you play the game.
  • Exit the Hamlet and go to the Forest Cottage.

FOREST COTTAGE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Zoom in on the combination lock on the door of the Forest Cottage.
  • Use the arrows to scroll through the numbers. Enter the combination that the Realtor gave you.
  • If you’ve forgotten the combination, just jump back and ask the Realtor again.
  • Enter the cottage.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • The Realtor told you to find the end of a rainbow. Therefore, you’ll need rain.
  • Click on the Rain Book to read the instructions on how to create a Rain Potion.
  • There are also other books around which you’ll need later in the game.
  • Pick up the 2 jars for collecting ingredients.
  • Zoom in on the Canvas.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Place the any bottles of paint that you have in your inventory onto the Canvas.
  • Don’t worry if you’re missing some colors, you’ll come across them later in the game.
  • Click on the table to get a closer view of the Workshop.

WORKSHOP

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Take the Fairy Dust that you found in the Gazebo, and set it down on the table.
  • Pick up the Flint and click on the firewood below the kettle to light the fire.
  • Click on the box with colored pegs to open up a puzzle.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Puzzle: Click on all the shapes to see their corresponding colors.
  • Find 3 colors that match the first lock, and switch off the other colors. Repeat the process for the other locks until all are unlocked.
  • The colors are randomly assigned and will be different each time you play.
  • Once the puzzle is solved, you’ll have a spoon which you can use for stirring potions.
  • Now all you need are clouds, water, and lightning bugs (fireflies).
  • Go to the Dark Forest to collect the Fireflies.

DARK FOREST

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Take an Empty Jar from your inventory and place it on the circling Fireflies.
  • Click on the Jar of Fireflies on the ground and find 2 more stray fireflies.
  • Go downwards to the Haunted Cottage.

HAUNTED COTTAGE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Enter the Haunted Cottage.
  • Take your Empty Jar and place it on the thick fog surrounding the ghost.
  • Click on the Jar of Clouds on the shelf and find 4 more clouds around the room.
  • Go to the Gnome Hideout.

GNOME HIDEOUT

  • Take your Empty Bucket and refill it with water from the Pond.
  • Return to the Forest Cottage.

WORKSHOP

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Enter the Cottage and zoom into the Workshop.
  • Set the Jar of Fireflies and the Jar of Clouds down on the table.
  • Take the Filled Bucket and pour water into the kettle.
  • Now, add the Jar of Fireflies to the kettle. Same with the Jar of Clouds.
  • Stir the potion with the wooden Spoon.
  • Add Fairy Dust to the potion.
  • Take a flask from the Basket of Flasks and place it on the kettle.
  • Voila! You have Rain Potion.
  • Go to the Treehouse to make rain.

TREEHOUSE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Enter the Treehouse.
  • Take the Rain Potion from your inventory and pour it into the funnel of the Rain Machine.
  • Find the 4 missing parts of the Rain Machine.
  • Go outside the Treehouse to find a Pot of Gold!

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Pot of Gold and find 5 gnomes to help you carry the pot.
  • Go to the Hamlet of Brenn and enter the Realtor’s Office.

REALTOR’S OFFICE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Take the Pot of Gold from your inventory and give it to Margaret Tyler.
  • Pick up the Deed from the Realtor’s desk.
  • Go back to the Haunted Cottage.

HAUNTED COTTAGE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Enter the Haunted Cottage.
  • Take the Deed from your inventory and give it to the Ghost.
  • Click on the loose floorboard beside the ghost.
  • Pick up the key from inside it.
  • Talk to Isabelle to learn a little more about her.
  • Exit the Haunted Cottage and go up the path to the Dark Forest.

Part 5: Cleaning the Orchard

DARK FOREST

  • Take the Orchard Key that you got from the Ghost, and use it on the Door at the top of the stairs.
  • A puzzle will pop up.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Puzzle: Move the discs around so that none of the lines are intersecting one another.
  • When a line is untangled, it will turn from blue to grey.
  • Enter the doorway.

ORCHARD

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 7 crystals.
  • Use your Shears to cut away the 2 vine hedges from the wall on the right. Another door is revealed.
  • Zoom in on the tablet on the door to see the instructions on how to clean the Orchard.
  • Pick up an Apple and a Nut from the ground. You’ll need these to lure the animals.
  • Go to the Tower Maze Entrance to find the deer.

TOWER MAZE ENTRANCE

  • The deer that you saw earlier is now lying on the ground.
  • Click on the deer. You learn that it needs a healing potion.
  • Go right to the Forest Cottage and enter the cottage.

FOREST COTTAGE / VEGETABLE GARDEN

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Read the Healing Book on the shelf.
  • To make the Healing Potion, you’ll need water, aloe, and honey.
  • Head over to the Vegetable Garden.
  • Click on the Beehive on the tree to get a piece of Honeycomb.
  • Now get some water.

GNOME HIDEOUT

  • Refill your Empty Bucket with water from the Pond.
  • Head back to the Forest Cottage to collect the Aloe Plant.

FOREST COTTAGE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Aloe Plant in the pot to the left of the front door.
  • Find 4 other plants in the scene.
  • Enter the cottage and zoom into the Workshop.

WORKSHOP

  • Set the Aloe Leaf and the Honeycomb down on the table.
  • Fill the kettle with water from your Filled Bucket.
  • Place the Aloe Leaf and Honeycomb in the kettle.
  • Stir the potion with the wooden Spoon.
  • Sprinkle some Fairy Dust on the potion.
  • Take a Flask from the Basket of Flasks and fill it with the potion.
  • You now have Healing Potion. Head back to the Tower Maze Entrance.

TOWER MAZE ENTRANCE

  • Apply the Healing Potion to the deer.
  • Feed the deer with the Apple from your inventory. It will now follow you around.
  • Go to the Treehouse to find the squirrel.

TREEHOUSE

  • Talk to the Gnome. He’ll ask you to bring him a trap.
  • Head over to the General Store in the Hamlet of Brenn to buy one.

HAMLET OF BRENN

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Wooden Trap to buy it. Purchase it with 22 of your crystals.
  • To fix it, find the 4 parts of the Wooden Trap.
  • Go back to the Treehouse.

TREEHOUSE

  • Give the Squirrel Trap to the Gnome.
  • Take the Nut from your inventory and place it inside the Squirrel Trap.
  • Pick up the Trap with the Squirrel inside.
  • Head back to the Orchard.

ORCHARD

A Gypsy's Tale

  • When you get there, the Deer and Squirrel will start eating the fruit and nuts on the ground.
  • Click on the Rake and find the 6 items scattered around the Orchard.
  • Pick up the Rake and with it, click on 3 piles of leaves to rake them up.
  • Take the Leaves from your inventory and place them in the Stone Basin.
  • Click on the tablet on the door to play a puzzle.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Puzzle: Find the weights that add up to the total number displayed on each platform.
  • As you place the weights on the platform, you will see the sum on the window above it.
  • You’ll know your solution is correct when the numbers on the window and the platform match.
  • Go through the doorway.

Part 6: Planting the Flowers

QUEEN’S GARDEN (NORTH)

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 15 crystals.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the blue tile on the wall. These are the Blueprints for the garden.
  • Find the 4 pieces of paper scattered about. Once complete, a puzzle will pop up.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Puzzle: Assemble the blueprint.
  • Click on a piece and move it to the right spot, then click again to drop it. You won’t be able to drag the pieces or to rotate them.
  • When done, you’ll see the finished garden Blueprints. Click anywhere outside to exit it.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Pedestal and find the 4 plants.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Using the Blueprints as a guide, plant the flowers in the correct spots.
  • There are 4 types of flowers on the Pedestal. Click on a flower on the Pedestal to select it, and then click on a spot to plant it on.
  • To get rid of a flower in your hand, click on the Disposal bin on the top right corner of the garden. Or click on another flower on the Pedestal to select a new one.
  • If you make a mistake, simply plant the correct flower in its spot. Or take the misplaced flower and drop it in the Disposal bin.
  • See the screenshot of the completed garden below.

  • When the garden is complete, the pedestal disappears, replaced by a Pile of Dirt.
  • Click on the Pile of Dirt to learn that you need a tool to dig it up.
  • Go to the Haunted Cottage.

HAUNTED COTTAGE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Shovel propped up on the right side of the cottage and find 4 rocks.
  • Head back to the Queen’s Garden (North).

QUEEN’S GARDEN (NORTH)

  • Use the Shovel to remove the Pile of Dirt.
  • Click on the Treasure Chest that is unearthed.
  • You’ll need a needle to open it.
  • Go to the Gazebo.

ENCHANTED GAZEBO

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the needle and find the 4 items.
  • Go back to the Queen’s Garden (North).

QUEEN’S GARDEN (NORTH)

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Use the needle to open the Treasure Chest.
  • Take the Collar and the crystals inside.
  • Go south through the archway at the bottom.

Part 7: The Gem Flower and the Bird

QUEEN’S GARDEN (SOUTH)

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 3 crystals.
  • Click on the Locked Gate to the left and find 4 gem flowers. One of them is hidden inside a box.
  • The last Gem flower missing. It can’t be found in this scene.
  • Pick up the Bottle of Blue Paint. This is the last bottle of paint to be found. You can now complete the painting.
  • Jump to the Forest Cottage.

FOREST COTTAGE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Enter the cottage and click on the Canvas.
  • If you haven’t already done so, place all the bottles of paint on the painting. You should have 5 colors from 5 locations:
    • Green paint – Treehouse
    • Red paint – Enchanted Gazebo
    • Purple paint – Haunted Cottage
    • Yellow paint – General Store in Hamlet of Brenn (purchased)
    • Blue paint – Queen’s Garden (South)
    • Once all the colors have been added, you can click on the Enchanted Painting to enter it.

ENCHANTED PAINTING

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 6 crystals.
  • There’s nothing else to do here now, so backtrack to search for the missing Gem Flower.
  • Since the gem flower is also called a Gnome Flower, the Gnome might know about it. You’ll find him in the Dark Forest.

DARK FOREST

  • Speak to the Gnome. He asks you to catch the bird.
  • Click on the bird. You’ll need food to lure it down -- perhaps some vegetable seeds?
  • Go left to the Vegetable Garden.

VEGETABLE GARDEN

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Move the cursor over the various vegetables.
  • A hand icon will appear over the appropriate bird food: Dried Corn.
  • Click on the Dried Corn to pick it up.
  • Go right to the Dark Forest.

DARK FOREST

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the flat stone ridge and find the 3 pearls. One of them is hidden inside a flower in the grass.
  • Place the Dried Corn on the flat stone ridge. While it’s feeding, take the Collar (which you found in the Queen’s Garden North treasure chest where the pedestal used to be, dug with the Shovel from the Haunted Cottage). Place the Collar on the Bird.
  • If you try to catch the Bird without the Collar, it will fly away. If this happens, leave the scene and re-enter it. The bird will be feeding again, so take the Collar and catch it.
  • Click on the Bird of Paradise to put it in your inventory.
  • Go to the Gnome Hideout.

GNOME HIDEOUT

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Give the Bird of Paradise to the Gnome.
  • He gives you the missing Gem Flower in return.
  • Talk to Iyia, the girl playing the flute. She’s looking for her feathers.
  • Return to the Queen’s Garden (South) to place the last Gem Flower.

QUEEN’S GARDEN (SOUTH)

  • Click on the Locked Gate and place the missing Gem Flower from your inventory.
  • The Tower Gate opens. Go through it.

Part 8: The Three Muses and the Gems

TOWER YARD

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 12 Crystals.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Door of the Tower. To open it you need a Rose Key, which the Gazebo can help you with.
  • Click on the white Feather Cape below the statue and find the 7 feathers. One of them is in a niche in the wall.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the gold necklace around the statue’s neck. This is the Gnome Key.
  • Find the 5 gnome articles of clothing scattered around.
  • Use your Shovel to dig up the Loose Pile of Dirt on the ground.
  • You’ll find a bunch of crystals, which go directly into your crystal bag.
  • Go to the Gazebo.

ENCHANTED GAZEBO

  • The Gazebo tells you that you need 3 gems.
  • These gems are on the 3 stone statues that you’ve seen in the Dark Forest, the Enchanted Painting, and the Queen’s Garden (South).
  • Visit each of the stone statues. Find out what each statue needs to break its curse, in order to release the gems.

DARK FOREST

  • The Muse of Writing needs a writing utensil.

QUEEN’S GARDEN (SOUTH)

  • The Muse of Art needs fish and water in his pool.

ENCHANTED PAINTING

  • The Muse of Music needs a musical instrument.

GNOME HIDEOUT

A Gypsy's Tale

  • From your inventory, take the Feather Cape (which you got in the Tower Yard) and give it to Iyia.
  • She drops a white Feather and a Flute. Pick up the white Feather from the ground
  • Take the Flute and find the 5 flute keys.
  • Also, unlock the Gnome Chest with the Gnome Key. Take the Knife inside.
  • While you’re there, refill your Bucket with water.
  • Go to the Forest where the boy is fishing.

FOREST

A Gypsy's Tale

  • The boy is no longer there and has left his fishing pole.
  • Click on the Fishing Pole and find the 4 fishing gear. 2 of them are in the tackle box.
  • Use the Fishing Pole on the pond to learn that you need fish food.
  • Go to the General Store in the Hamlet of Brenn.

HAMLET OF BRENN

  • Click on the Fish Food on the shelf. Purchase it for 54 crystals.
  • Observe that Haden, the shop keeper, is writing with a quill.
  • Click on Haden. He asks for a swan feather in exchange for his quill.
  • From your inventory, give him the Feather (that you found in the Gnome Hideout). He’ll give you the quill.
  • Return to the fish pond in the Forest.

FOREST

  • Place the Fish Food in the pond.
  • Now use your Fishing Pole again to catch some fish.
  • You now have everything the muses need.

DARK FOREST

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Give the Quill to the Muse of Writing.
  • Find the 4 statue parts. One of them is hidden in a tree trunk.
  • Take the blue Sapphire beside the muse.

QUEEN’S GARDEN (SOUTH)

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Fill the pool with water from your Filled Bucket.
  • Place the Fish in the pool.
  • Find the 3 statue parts.
  • Pick up the red Ruby that falls to the ground.

ENCHANTED PAINTING

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Give the Flute to the Muse of Music.
  • Find the 4 statue parts.
  • Pick up the yellow Topaz that falls to the ground.
  • Now that you have all 3 gems, head over to the Enchanted Gazebo.

ENCHANTED GAZEBO

  • Place the 3 gems into the right gem slots above the Gazebo entrance.
  • Click on the lever to find that it needs oil. You’ll need to buy some at the store.

HAMLET OF BRENN

  • Go to the General Store.
  • Click on the container of Oil on the shelf. Buy it for 61 crystals.
  • Go back to the Gazebo.

ENCHANTED GAZEBO

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Use the Oil on the Lever.
  • Click on the Lever and find the 4 lever parts.
  • Remove the 3 gems.
  • Go to the Treehouse.

TREEHOUSE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Enter the Treehouse.
  • Place a gem into the Lightning Machine.
  • Flick the switch and find the 5 machine parts.
  • The gem will start to glow. Pick it up and replace it with another gem.
  • Pull the switch, wait, and pick up the glowing gem. Do the same for the last gem.
  • Return to the Gazebo.

ENCHANTED GAZEBO

  • Place the 3 glowing gems into the gem slots.
  • Pull the Lever to play a puzzle.

  • Puzzle: Move the liquid from one container to another until the middle container has 6 units.
  • For the purposes of this diagram, let’s label the containers A, B, C from left to right.
  • First, pour liquid from the rightmost container (C) to the middle one (B).
  • Next, pour liquid from the leftmost container (A) to the middle one (B).
  • Finally, pour liquid from the middle container (B) to the rightmost one (C).

A Gypsy's Tale

  • When the puzzle is solved, take the Rose Key from the Pedestal and find the 3 items.
  • Head over to the Tower Yard to unlock the Tower of Secrets.

Part 9: Mushrooms and a Heart of Ice

TOWER YARD

  • Take the Rose Key from your inventory and unlock the Tower Door with it.
  • A beast comes out of the Tower. You’ll need the magic Collar from the bird.
  • Go to the Gnome Hideout.

GNOME HIDEOUT

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Bird with the Collar.
  • Find the 3 musical symbols and birdseed.
  • The Collar will go into your inventory. Return to the Tower Yard.

TOWER YARD

  • Fasten the Collar on the Beast.
  • Go up the Tower.

TOWER OF SECRETS

  • Click on the sleeping girl.
  • Examine the note on the table. Click anywhere outside to close it.
  • Find a magical creature. You saw a satyr-like creature in the Enchanted Painting.

ENCHANTED PAINTING

  • Talk to the Urisk.
  • He tells you to create a Fairy Circle. There’s a book about that in the Forest Cottage.

FOREST COTTAGE

  • Check the Fairy Circle book, on the shelf with the green jar.
  • According to the Fairy Circle Book, you must plant twelve mushrooms in a dark, damp, location.
  • In the Dark Forest, there are already 3 on the ground. You’ll need to find 9 more.

  • Place the 9 mushrooms beside the 3 mushrooms already on the ground.
  • Enter the Fairy Circle into the Eldritch Realm.

ELDRITCH REALM

  • Collect the 6 crystals.
  • Click on the black Waterhorse, but you can’t interact with it yet.
  • You’ll only be able to buy the breathing apparatus later in the game. Don’t worry about it for now.
  • Go left to the Seelie Court.

SEELIE COURT

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the 3 crystals.
  • Speak with Tatiana.
  • Go right to the Waterhorse, and take the right path.

GOBLIN BLACKSMITH

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Collect the crystal.
  • Talk to the Goblin Blacksmith. He needs a chunk of ice.
  • Go to the Treehouse to make ice.

TREEHOUSE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • To make ice, you’ll need water. If your bucket is empty, refill it now at the Gnome Hideout.
  • Enter the Treehouse.
  • Take the Filled Bucket of water and pour it into the tube of the Ice Machine.
  • Find the 4 machine parts. One of them is stored in a drawer.
  • Take the chunk of ice and return to the Goblin Blacksmith.

GOBLIN BLACKSMITH

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Place the Ice on the workbench.
  • Wait for the Goblin to finish carving, and then click on the Heart of Ice.
  • Find the 4 blacksmith tools.
  • Go back to the Tower Yard and up the Tower of Secrets.

Part 10: The Girl’s Things

TOWER OF SECRETS

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Place the Heart of Ice on the sleeping girl. She awakens and asks for her things.
  • Click on the Wardrobe Key on the bed behind the girl. Find 4 other keys.
  • Use the Wardrobe Key in your inventory to unlock the Wardrobe.
  • Take the Diadem and the Dynamite inside.
  • Give the Diadem to the girl. She asks you to find its jewels.
  • Remember the crack in the Courtyard wall beside the fountain? Now that you have Dynamite, you can enlarge the crack in the wall.

COURTYARD

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Place the Dynamite on the crack in the wall.
  • Find 3 matches.
  • Look inside the crack and find a Gem Pouch. Take it.
  • There’s also a bag with a huge amount of crystals. Now you have enough crystals to buy the Breathing Apparatus.

HAMLET OF BRENN

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Go to the General Store.
  • Click on the Breathing Apparatus. Buy it for 340 crystals (if you don’t have enough crystals, you’ll find some in the crack in the Courtyard after blowing it up with Dynamite).
  • To fix the Breathing Apparatus, find the 5 parts. One of them is hidden in a basket.
  • Go the Church to tell the Monk that you’ve awakened his friend.

CHURCH

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Speak with the Monk.
  • Open the wardrobe and take the Black Gown.
  • Now all you need is the Scepter. Go to the Eldritch Realm.

ELDRITCH REALM

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Water Horse to face it in battle. It drags you into the water.
  • From your inventory, take the Knife (from the Gnome Chest in the Gnome Hideout, which was unlocked with the Gnome Key from the Tower Yard).
  • Use the Knife on the Water Horse.
  • Click on the Thistle Scepter and find the 4 items. The hammer is hidden behind corals.
  • You now have all of the girl’s things. Go back to the Tower of Secrets.

TOWER OF SECRETS

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Place the Gem Pouch on the Diadem on the table.
  • Puzzle: Take the gems from the brooches on the corners, and place them on the Diadem.
  • The 2 green gems are not interchangeable. They must be in the precise orientation.
  • Blue, red and white gems may be placed anywhere they are needed.
  • When complete, take the Diadem.
  • Give the girl her things: the Diadem, the Black Gown, and the Scepter.

Part 11: Setting Things Right

TOWER YARD

  • Exit the Tower of Secrets and go down to the Tower Yard.
  • Find a way to remove the curse from the Beast.

FOREST COTTAGE

  • Enter the Forest Cottage.
  • Read the Beast Book on the shelf.
  • To make the Beast Reversal Potion, you’ll need water, Beast Fur, and Ragwort.
  • Collect the missing ingredients.

TOWER YARD

  • Click on the Beast to get some Beast Fur.

GNOME HIDEOUT

  • Refill your Empty Bucket with water from the pond.

HAMLET OF BRENN

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Ragwort plant and find the 4 plants.
  • Return to the Forest Cottage and zoom into the Workshop.

WORKSHOP

  • Set the Ragwort and Beast Fur down on the table.
  • Fill the kettle with water from your Filled Bucket.
  • Place the Ragwort and Beast Fur in the kettle.
  • Stir the potion with the wooden Spoon.
  • Sprinkle some Fairy Dust on the potion.
  • Take a Flask from the Basket of Flasks and fill it with the potion.
  • You now have Beast Reversal Potion.

TOWER YARD

  • Place the Beast Reversal Potion on the Beast. He mentions Isabelle.

HAUNTED COTTAGE

  • Enter the Haunted Cottage.
  • Speak to Isabelle Le’mor.
  • Go outside the cottage.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Take the Shovel from your inventory and place it on the Gravestone.
  • Zoom in on the ground and click on the Brooch.
  • Find 5 other brooches.

TOWER YARD

  • Give the Brooch to William.
  • Go to the Haunted Cottage and enter.
  • They ask you to bring elixir from a chasm.
  • Jump into the Enchanted Painting.

ENCHANTED PAINTING

  • Speak to the Urisk.
  • Click on the Tree Stump to learn that you need a rope from the Gazebo.
  • To obtain it, you need a valuable item made from coal.
  • Head over to the Treehouse and enter it.

TREEHOUSE

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Molten Oven and find the 4 oven parts.
  • Click on the oven door to open it. Place the Coal inside and close the door.
  • After a few seconds, open the oven door again and take the Diamond.

ENCHANTED GAZEBO

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Place the Diamond on the Pedestal.
  • Click on the Rope that appears and find 4 bugs.

ENCHANTED PAINTING

  • Take the Rope and tie it around the tree stump.
  • Click on the extended rope to descend into the Chasm.

CHASM

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Buttercup Plant and find 3 symbols.
  • Dip the Buttercup into the Pool of Life to scoop up some Elixir.

HAUNTED COTTAGE

  • Give the Elixir of Life to Isabelle.
  • Go into the Eldritch Realm and to Seelie Court.

SEELIE COURT

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Speak to Tatiana about her wand. She gives you a puzzle to solve.
  • Puzzle: Rotate the wheels so that the outer gems match the colors on the 6 slots.
  • Don’t worry about the other colors, there’s no need to match or align those.

A Gypsy's Tale

  • Click on the Wand in Tatiana’s hand and find the 4 magic items.
  • Go to the Tower Yard and up the tower.

TOWER OF SECRETS

  • Pick up the Wand from the floor beside Isabelle the frog.
  • Take the Wand from your inventory and use it on Hepmortula.
  • Puzzle: Hepmortula will cast a spell on you. You must select the proper counterspell to beat it.
  • Her Health decreases when you choose the correct spell. If your spell fails, your Health decreases.
  • When your Health reaches 0, you must begin again.

  • If she casts a Water spell, choose Tree.
  • If she casts a Tree spell, choose Fire.
  • If she casts a Sun spell, choose Cloud.
  • If she casts an Ice spell, choose Sun.
  • If she casts a Bird spell, choose Arrow.
  • If she casts a Fire spell, choose Water.
  • If she casts a Cloud spell, choose Wind.
  • If she casts an Arrow spell, choose Ice.
  • If she casts a Wind spell, choose Bird.
