I like creepy so I really wanted to like this game. The story is fascinating, the scenes are nice and gloomy and the music adds to the spooky atmosphere. And that's all its got going for it. The graphics are too blurred in the HOG portion - objects blend in too well with the background so you have to use up your limited hints (which are spiders) fairly quickly. Even after using one hint to locate a final object, a bowtie, I had to click numerous times in the area defined by the spider's web because it blended too well with the background. I was also stumped by the tombstone jigsaw puzzles. Placement for most of the pieces was trial and error - and you were only given four pieces to work with at a time so it wasn't like you could choose from all the pieces, place the easier pieces and then come back to the ones that gave you problems. I like spot-the-differences mini games and it was interesting to look for the differences in a photo from the late 1800s but I couldn't for the life of me find the last difference and was stuck in the game - no skips allowed. I realize that we are meant to be searching for clues in a ghost town so it would have to be somewhat dark but why can't the artwork at least be be sharp and clear? Skips for the mini games and more hints would have made this a more palatable offering. Sorry, not buying it. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate
