i've played it. it was kind of odd. literally very low grade graphics. cut scenes are just drawings. gameplay is somewhat hard to figure out, it is a 1st person point & click adventure game. if i had known all of this beforehand i probably would have never bought it, you should borrow it from a friend if you can. it's definitely one of a kind.

Thank you dqbaby. Is it gory? I can get it for free. How difficult was it to figure out?

honestly, i did have to peek at a walkthrough because I was stuck on a part for a day or two. i hate doing that. overall, not too bad as long as you observe everything in every room from every possible angle. some parts can be ultimately frustrating but just keep going.
its a little spooky at some parts and there are rooms that are blood spattered. but there is definitely one part near the end that just completely grosses me out. very twisted horror movie stuff. still freaks me out a little.

Thanks, I don't think it is the type of game I want to play. I appreciate your help on this. Kudos to you. SandyG

Strange game yet intriguing. So little info to help you through game, I strongly suggest Gameboomers walkthrough. Wish I'd read reviews before buying, but since I did am going to try to finish. Good luck!

This isn't a recent post, but I like to clarify Dqbaby76's comments a bit.
The graphics are top notch, as the reviewer stated.
The cutscenes are like chalk images drawn on a blackboard. It is different, but not ugly and personally I preferred seeing that to the comic book style types being used in recent HOGs.
Generally, the game is styled to keep the player's mood light, despite the glaringly dark underlying story. It is true that there are blood stains on the floor, but unlike one HOG I could mention, there are no actual bodies in view, or worse yet, to frisk for clues.
You don't see anything of the gross scene Dqbaby76 mentioned. Pay attention to the dialogue here. You only need hear one word to know it's time to mute your volume. The screen will also go completely dark.
(Further discussion on that scene is moot. Implicit vs Explicit. Edgar Allan Poe vs Stephen King. Decide for yourself which you can better stand if you play.)
ESRB rating is T for Teen. A Google search led to an IGN link that explains this and also gives a nice summary of this game's features. I'd suggest you'd check it out (not sure if linking is allowed here), especially if you have children. Dqbaby76 aptly called it 'horror movie' like.
Ghost in the Sheet (GitS):
. adventure game - no inventory, no rigid story paths, no journal (note clues on paper)
. mature audience - a bit gory; creepy visuals and sounds; silhouette 'nude'.
. challenging, but GitS' comments often give a hint as to what to do next;
. gameplay is good; factory plan on bulletin board indicates exit points.
. detailed environment to explore - witty comments for even non-story elements in GitS' dry humour.
All in all, it's a clever, enjoyable game. You'll laugh, go 'blink blink' a few times, wish deeply for the comeuppance of the villians, likely get stuck and impatient and peek a bit like I did. >.<
You can download this game from the MostFun website and play the full game for free (with ads).
Dqbaby76: for some reason, the Ladybirds 'creeped me out' the most. :)
