- FUN Technologies Acquires UK Casual Game Site, Teagames. Teagames is a not-so-well-known maker of some of the nicest Web-based casual games around (well, I like them, anyway).

- Gottaplay Buys Skyworks, Casual and Advergaming Firm. Skyworks is another good casual game company, founded by ex-Atari veterans (very old school).

- Charlie Cleveland's small game biz. Interesting interview with guy who created popular Half Life mode and new casual game Zen of Sudoku. Don't see the connection? Me neither, until I read on.

- iWin, developers of Jewel Quest, Mahjong Quest, and Family Feud, has recently raised more than $3 million in funding. Thanks to RK for the tip.
- Dave Walls of Funkitron launches Blue Ribbon Games, a new site to download and play casual games.
- Encore, a leading retail publisher, announces new casual games publisher program. They also told me about their first upcoming published, which sounds really cool indeed. We'll show you first at Gamezebo.
