After playing the hr. demo, I've decided I like this game, as well. Similar to the first one, but a nice change in the puzzles at end of each level. Also like the game to get more hints, It will be on my list to buy, when it comes to retail. LindaB

Oh, Linda B, I just don't know how you live without buying games online. How do you have the patience to wait for retail?

Molley, Welcome. At the top of page it says community. Click on that, then click on members lounge, under members lounge is a forum called Welcome Newcomers. On that forum you meet people and you will be welcomed! I'm not sure how many are on site at present but somebody will show up at some point. Again welcome and join us for breakfast in the morning.

The intention of the game is excellent, but...

- the right object you click on doesn't disappear
- a hint gives a description of the place of the object (So: you have to look further, sometimes you can't find the object because the description isn't right).
These failures give me a primitive impression of the game. -
I myself liked the fact that the objects don't disappear, since in the storyline you're not collecting objects--just examining clues.

I thought the riddles were an interesting way of presenting the hidden objects to be found. Switching back and forth between the rooms kept the search for the clues interesting.
The transitional game was a nice change of pace. Placing some of the items to then reveal another part of the scene keeps you on your toes. The Doll House interactive puzzles reminded me a little of Madame Fate puzzles. You have to figure out what the puzzle wants you to do buy clicking on things. You don't have to click too much because buttons and switches are pretty noticable.
I played in the Archaelogist Mode with the normal time and normal ending the first time. I found that there was plenty of time to complete all of the rooms. I didn’t run out of hints but I played the Music Journal puzzle to see what it was like. I liked the idea of earning the extra hints. And since that puzzle would take up part of your allotted time you get to decide whether you want to play it or not.
There were ten levels and it took 4 hours to complete the game the first time. I am going back through the game again and this time I will play in the Apprentice Mode. I have noticed the second time through that some of the clues change so it’s not exactly the same as the first game.
Overall I would recommend this game if you enjoy word riddles. Send a Kudo Post a Reply Quote & Reply
