This game was recently a Big Fish Toolbar Daily Deal, so for $3, I was willing to give it a try. Unlike some other user reviewers, I have not played its sequel, and so will not make comparisons. The riddle idea is interesting, but as has already been pointed out, there are far too many repeats. In some of the later scenes, every single riddle was one I had already seen earlier in the game. Sometimes when hidden object games repeat items too often, I have a suspicion it's because the game's internal random generators are generating not-so-random numbers. In this case, I don't think so; I think there simply weren't enough riddles written to cover all the objects before the game was released. Once you figure out what an item is, it's usually quite easy to find; in the whole game I used one hint, and in retrospect, I shouldn't have used it. Experienced hidden object players will plow through this game rather quickly. The storyline is a bit dull, and you can guess how it will turn out after two or three chapters. There are no minigames other than "spin the tiles so that the picture looks right". Anyway, for $3, I guess it was a harmless time killer, but I really can't recommend the game to anyone even at the usual game club prices.
