Hi pnutgllry you can go to the walkthrough by clicking on the tips and tricks tab right above this white page. I have not played this game.

Thanks. ;) Actually I have read the walkthrough a few times now. I have tried different strategies, but in the end the other players always take me over. ;) I even attempted to edit the $ you are given at the beginning of the game, but the file would not let me save it after changing it. Darn. I will probably keep trying. ;)
Thanks Again.

Okay. I finally beat the game. Yeay. I have a couple tips to add for anyone interested.
*Don't change the prices the flowers appear at. You'll need the extra money to stay ahead of everyone. By the time you get to the last three flowers, and if you have more then one stand, you will need to adjust prices, but before that I didn't and it enhanced the amount of money I made nicely.
*When you have more then one stand, and with all 3 competetors out there you'll find the number of flowers you can sell per stand greatly reduced. Just trust this. I just divided the number of flowers I sold by how ever many stands I had.
*Starting at the beginning of the game you'll save money if you check each time (I know a pain in the tush) to see how many flowers you've sold and adjust your amounts - adding or reducing just a bit to meet demand. You will need more of the trend flower and fav flower.
*Keep an eye on how much money the competition is making. If you can keep them from reaching their first $10,000 so they can't buy that second stand, it will make taking them out much easier. Also try to stay just ahead of whoever is spending the most on advertising. Maybe an additional $10 to $50 or so as you get further into the game.
*After a while you'll find as you need more flowers then you have purchased they will automatically be purchased. (Nice) Also once you have a fridge, what you don't sell can be sold the next time around.
*In the beginning expand when you can, but do protect your block of 9 stands. The less the competitors can take over the easier things will be. You'll need to hit stands in other neighborhoods after a while so you find areas where you can sell a decent number of flowers.
*When it came time to run the competition off, I began with the one with the least amount of money and spots available for them to expand to (as long as noone else was near making $10,000. I began surrounding their warehouse, and other areas they had taken over. Eventually they won't be able to make new money because there won't be any demand in the blocks they can move to.
*Good Luck. Maybe I was just a bit dense but I did have a hard time with this game. I think the thing that turned that around was keeping the flower prices high in the beginning. ;) Hope this helps someone. Have fun.

Yeah it was fun in the beginning seeing what new flowers appeared, and what new merchandise and seasonal items. ;) This isn't a game I would play over and over though, like Sim City, Sim Theme Park, Theme Hospital, Zoo Tycoon, etc. ;) I prefer to actually create things.
Smiles.
