Everything went well for the first ten minutes, then, around level four or five, I couldn't achieve a sufficiently high score, and didn't know how to fix it. Although I am a time management fanatic, I just gave up! One more negative: the speed daters talk about their interests, which is great when those are biking, art and mountain climbing. When they air their views on marriage and children, suddenly things get too serious. I prefer to keep serious things serious and to keep casual gaming light. Send a Kudo Post a Reply Quote & Reply

I really enjoy this game and I find it a fun new spin on time management games. The game does not offend me at all. As a matter of fact, I believe some causal games are TOO 'family' friendly. I am looking to see a groundbreaking casual game that might eventually deal with more touchy or taboo issues, but I think that won't happen for years. Two thumbs up for Flash Dating!!

Well, it's a different topic for time management, which is good. I just wish it didn't feel so much like Diner Dash with a dating scene thrown in. I quickly learned to concentrate on the men that didn't have all their interests revealed so the matchmaking round would be easier. Timing the upgrade for maximum use proved tricky, but the psychic was is soooo helpful when I did time it correctly. My biggest problem is the plodding speed at which the hostess seems to move. Either she's too slow or the walls are too far apart! I give it 7 out of 10.

I also really liked the new spin on time management games, and I was excited about playing one with a dating theme. However, I did feel that the game had several problems. I read the directions before playing, but several things are left out, and there are no pop-up directions to guide you in a training round. For instance, I had no idea at first that the chocolate-covered strawberries could be given out as a snack for extra points, without the couples asking for them. I ended up clicking on the snack by mistake when aiming for something else, and found out that I could pick them up. I think this game could use a small training round each time a new element is introduced, and the training that is provided needs to be a little clearer. I found that the little icons holding interests were too small for me to see them clearly--I'm not sure if that was the game, or my eyesight, which is probably poor from playing too many time management games! All in all, I think the idea is very good, but it is poorly designed and doesn't fulfill its potential.

    Hey,

I do not know why there should be a problem when possible couples in a speed dating game talk about marriage and children, thats just what would happen in reality too. In Wedding Dash, they are even marrying, and it staying light. A propos Wedding Dash - I cannot see the new spin concerning Flash Dating - it is just a slightly varied version of Wedding Dash...and I agree with Catnip, many new elements are not explained at all and it seemed impossible to me to beat the later levels - although I would say that I make everything that is possible - no good balance by the producers, because after retrying a level more than a dozen times is just soooo....*yawn*
