Of course, the best action is to breed identical fish types, and second best is to breed identical fish bodies. If you can't do either, then you have two options: 1) Sell all your fish except the one you would most like to breed; take the money earned, and buy new eggs. From there you are likely to have a second fish. If that doesn't happen, then do this again and again until you have two.Or2) Try breeding fish with like fins. Be careful, because this may give you less stable fish at the beginning of your game. You will need to spend more on vitamins, but you can then sell the multiples of the new breed, in order to buy more original eggs (and see option 1). I hope that was helpful. :)
