    Does anybody know which file your data is saved to?  I would like to back up my progress but can't figure out which file is the data saved file. Send a Kudo Post a reply Quote & Reply

    The game save file is either loacted in the folder that is in C:\Documents and Settings\ACCOUNT NAME\Application Data, or where the game installed to, such as C:\Program Files.

    Change ACCOUNT NAME to the Windows account you are logged in under.

    For Vista, it might be located in C:\ProgramData.

    It depends on where you downloaded Escape the Museum from, in regards to where it saves and what name it saves under/the file extension. You might recognize it easily if the save file is under your game profile name.

    Thanks, I think I have found it.  It is called 1save.dat.
