glickyo wish I could help you but I seem 2 go from 1 area 2 another not in any order haven't found the plate number yet. this is 1 tricky game thank goodness that it has hints. lol lol

I have played about an hour of the game. I am loving it. Reminds me of Azada and MCF puzzles. I have going from one place to the other too Lauder. LOL. There are a lot of things to do and puzzles to solve. Also the graphics are excellant. Great game.

I had played about 45 minutes of the demo and then hit the buy button!! LOL Not sure when I'll get the chance to play it, again, but It's mine when I get that chance!! LOL Sure is a lot of wandering around!!

I played the demo and loved the game. I'm not having any problems with using the items and solving the puzzles. I am having a problem with moving around. Right now I seem to be going round in circles. I have explored all the possible routes and when I use the down arrow I get a message " the back door is locked". I will look up the walkthrough on BFG. But with all the different paths that this game can take, I think it's going to be somewhat confusing. I may change my mind as I play further, but right now it seems to be unnecessarily confusing.

I am totally stuck. I've been to the walkthrough and no help there with my problem. I am at the section with the Old Globe Antiques and Portions Perfecta. As far as I can see I have played all the scenarios in this section. I can't get out. When I get back out to the main corridor and use the down arrow I get this message, "the door behind me is locked". What am I missing for getting out of this? I've been back through the various doors and stairs several times. This is ceasing to be fun. This one may be too confusing for me.

From the room view, which is called MAP in the game, click on the book in the lower right corner of the screen. If it says MAP there instead of having a book, click on MAP, and then on the book.
This will tell you how many chapters you've completed. The bottom of the book will say something like "15 of 42" or "21 of 42" or whatever.
First tell me how many chapters you've gotten through, and maybe I can help figure out what yon need to do next.

Elle and Seaberry, Getting out of chapter one. Have you solved all the portraits with the buttons? Have you put the fish emblem in the big round metal disk in the elevator control room? When you do it will open up and you can put the gear in. When that is done go back to the elevator and click on it and the elevator should decend.

By the way, I agree that the only part of this game I don't likeis that it's so easy to get stuck and not be able to figure out to unlock the next door!
The one that gave me the most trouble was figuring out I had to use the hammer on the sticking out nail by the locked door to outside.

I finally finished the game. Loved it!! It is different from most HO games. The puzzles are easy to do. You do have to do a lot of backtracking to get the emblems for the portraits but the scenery along the way is great. The only thing I didn't like is the time it took for the Hint to recharge. I wound with about 32 hints at end of game because it took so long. Otherwise, I highly recommend the game.

Hey guys, whenever I try to start the game it comes up in the lower right side of my screen so I can't see most of it. Does anyone know whats wrong? Why doesn't it come up fullscreen instead of just the little corner that I can see?

Loved this game! This is one of the best, most creative, and just plain fun hidden object games I've played in quite a while. Only one (little) complaint...it's too short! Finished the game in about two and a half hours. Guess that's the hallmark of a great game though. It leaves you wanting more. *grin*

Didn't you click on the "E" cards? They speed up the recharging time of the hint ball in seconds! That's what they're for, the cards are not hints, but rechargers.

I had the same problem with the game showing in the right hand corner - contacted BFG and they said to change the screen resolution to 1024 x768 or higher and hit apply - that should work - it worked for me hope it does for you!

Collect all the little playing cards with an E on them. Click on these under hint button and it will fill up fast.

Thanks for your response and offer to help. I must have had one of those"duh" moments last night. Upon playing this morning, I found that I had been missing the door to the left that takes you to the antique shop. I am now back on track and have started chapter 2.

Hi Levendig... believe me, I tried to uninstall and reinstall again. Doesn't work. Something on my pc gets stuck on the you-played-the-demo-that's-it-for-you!! I installed it on another pc and it works fine. By the way, did you see the sign 'horlogerie'. Funny

In the future the easiest way to get to the Walkthrus (if one is available) on Big Fish is to look under the "video" (to the right of the download buttons) for that game and there will be a "Blue" Link to the walkthru. Just click on the link and it will take you right to it.
As Levendig said, the other way is to click on "Blog" Link (Left-Hand side) on the Main "Download Games" Page on Big Fish Web Site (www.bigfishgames.com)

** BRENDANSO** If you haven't... try these...
1. go to "add/remove programs" on your computer and uninstall "bigFish". Next, download any demo from their website, and "bigFish" will reinstall. Choose a different location on your hard-drive to install new games. Then redownload "enlightenus". Storing it in a different location may be the best fix.
2. If you are opening the game from the program file location (instead of the game console) try opening the game from the game console once - it might change the start-up file. Afterwards, you can open from the location of your choice, because the program now knows it should start in the "bought" mode. If you made a shortcut, make sure the start-up file's name did not change (it changes sometimes on "real arcade").

Hi Everyone, I am Stuck...I have completed all chapters up to 13 and cannot get the stone on the right to accept the fish emblem to open stone and insert the gear to make the elevator to open. Says does not belong here. I have inserted the hands on the clock. Please....HELP

You have to click once without having anything attached to your cursor. That will open the zoom scene.
Then and only then click on the fish emblem in inventory, and then click again on the circle in the center of the zoom scene.
The game does this in several places--you can see exactly where you want to put an inventory object, but it keeps tell you it goes someplace else. The reason is it wants you to click once WITHOUT any inventory objects on your cursor just to open the zoom scene, and then you can use the inventory object.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone had the same problem I had with just the demo? The game crashed at least 5 times in the hour! I really was enjoying the game and was seriously considering buying it except for the crashing, I hope someone can help me figure out why this is happening or at least would love to know if it is just my pc. What a game!!!!!!!!!I have finished it or at least I think I finished it. I used the key to open, what I though was the last door, but I still have the key and another scene with a Pirate and his buddy in it. They seem to be waiting for you to play and place buttons in the slot. I'm stuck. How do I play the game to earn the buttons and what do I do with this last key that is in my inventory? HELP HELP HELP
