Every time I buy a Carol Reed game I swear I will never buy another. Yet here I am again, attempting to keep my sanity while trudging through another story. The story lines are interesting and the graphics (actually a collection of photos) are well done. The problem is with the limited movement throughout the game - point and click, and not 360 degree movement which we've come to expect. The games are non-linear and one gets almost no clues on how to proceed in the game, and the landscaping and building interiors make it incredibly easy to lose your way and repeat the same movements over and over again. Then there are the spots where it seems there is one single pixel that you must click on in order to advance and I find I can spend many frustrating minutes in these areas. I had really hoped this Carol Reed mystery would have some of the latest gaming software, but alas it works like the games we played years ago. So this just might be my last attempt.

This is one game that I really wish I could have played a demo first. Looking at the walkthrough, I realize there's absolutely no way I could get through this game without closely following it, and I HATE having to depend so much on a walkthrough.

Even though I got this game on a Big Fish $2.99 Daily Deal, I feel that I overspent on this game. I'd rate this game at less than one star if I could.
