According to the hints, the black mold piece should be in the centre of the screen.  I found all the square stones and made it to the printing press, but I don't have the mold piece to get the imprints on the stones I have.  Anyone know where it would be? Send a Kudo Post a reply Quote & Reply

Foot in mouthThe black metal squares for the molds are always in the circle with the other stones - except for the one needed to cross the bridge to the waterfall, that one is sometimes in the grass with the remaining boards needed to repair the bridge. Many items change to different locations if you replay the game, so if you really can't find something, try re-starting the game or level - it's annoying, but the thing that makes these games fun to play again and again(because it's never exactly the same, so it doesn't get boring) also makes it vulnerable to occasional glitches(like items not appearing in ANY of the usual places - or even being partly visible, but not detectable when you place your cursor on it - I've had that happen a few times in the DC series, and when it does, there's nothing for it but to re-start or leave the game and come back). I really think this series is great - I just wish there was a "hint" button, and sometimes a "skip this puzzle" option for the levels that I really DON'T look forward to replaying(all the "Simon" sequences, for example!) Still, with all it's quirks, Dream Chronicles remains one of the very few games I am glad I own. I may get frustrated, but I'm never bored - and it REALLY IS beautiful, don't you think? Hope you hang in there, cuz I think you'll find it rewarding - despite the occasionally maddening frustrations!
