What is the deal with the calculator??!! Totally stuck here ... any help??

I'm stuck with weighing the stones. The only hint you seem to get are the letters and numbers on the bottom of the screen. But they don't make any sense to me

Hi Brendasoma the Letters and the numbers at the bottom tell you how much the stones weigh: L (large stone), M (medium stone) S (small stone) using the weight of each stone make the weight on all 4 panels the same.

Granny,
Thought I would tell you guys that this game is not downloading correctly. I tried three times and it would not run the execute file so something may be wrong on the website.

hi Granny, i've tried that ( 4+4=) this doesn't work.what am I doing wrong? I hope you've the answer. thx for now. greetings Jeannette from the Netherlands

Jeannetten, after you enter 4+4, click on the 8 that appears on the calculator. You can also do 6+2, 2*4 or any other combination. :)

hey granny ok im old and stuff but i have done 4+4 5+3 6+2 you name it = 8 and it sits there and does nuttin help plz???

Hi Pammy on the calculator click 4+4=it will put 8 on the calculator screen click on the 8, that will give you the number 8 that your list wants.

Hi anyone completed the portrait of the monk? There's one piece where the right cheek should be I simply couldn't find it anywhere :( looked round the entire screen over & over & tried clicking on anything suspicious but still no luck :(

OK I figures it out S1= 1LB M3= 3LB L=6LB all together the stones weigh 40 LBs. So put 10 LBS in each square.

Hey all, do you think we would be better off without the calculator puzzle so early on? Do you think it's a barrier to entry - will some people get frustrated that they won't move on?

HI Popcorn, I liked the calculator, I would have liked more of that type thing throughout the game. I don't think the calculator was so frustrating that it would keep someone from playing the game. I would have liked more interactive things such as finding inventory items in one location to be used in other locations. Good game I enjoyed it.

Just like GrannyO said.. I did like the calculator as well.. but I guess I did something wrong at this point and now I know how to do.. my demo time was over... I also like more interactive things ( see Granny's post ).

1st time post ... D/L ok. Game only went as far as 1st "cut" with discription of 100 years ago ... Game stayed on this screen for full hour trial. Unable to review further. Was very "alarmed" with what appeared to mandantory toolbar inclusion. Un-checked box & appears it d/n install........I really enjoy this site/service ! I base most decisions to buy on reviews here !

The forum for The Dracula Files is now open. You can ask questions and talk about the game here.
The Dracula Files can be downloaded at egames. Spintop also has the game available for download. Big Fish also has the game available for download.
