I didn't finish this one, but I did play it for awhile. The characters were fun; I think they were all meant to look like famous people in Hollywood, but I wasn't able to place a few of them. The seek-and-find games were fun; I liked the variety in the kinds of seeking you have to do. However, the story was severely lacking. It's impossible to even remotely believe anything going on. We're supposed to be a detective... but we spend the entire game gathering props and fixing sets for movies. Why bother with the detective angle at all? It's a cliche in seek-and-find games and this game would've been greatly improved by a story where we play an aspiring set designer or something. By the time I stopped playing, I was really tired of the main character pretending like she even cared what happened to the missing actress/money, let alone was trying to solve a "case" of some kind. We just spent our time cleaning up movie sets while other people ran around to get "information" for us which mostly amounted to "I think someone on this other set might know something..." which ended up leading us in gigantic circles. Again, toss out the worn out "detective" story line and make the whole game make more sense! An additional gripe: The broken objects are a fun variation on the seek-and-find theme, but it's hard to tell with the slight dimming/darkening of the objects which ones you've found and which you're still looking for. Definitely made things a lot harder. In all, this game has some potential and some good parts... but it's missing that certain something.
