Thanks for the info!! I had dled, before I went to work, but when I checked it, I still didn't have access to the case!! There was, also, an error (but I can't remember what it said.....sigh...)!! Anyway, I just restarted my comp. and checked the game and the case is now available to me!! Probably won't get a chance to play it, now until, Friday, though!!

Good Morning Granny123: It's the BFB, we watch CSI constantly....I am excited about BF releasing this game. I see that there is a box game available. I did not know this. (I lead a sheltered life, lol) Where and how can I purchase the box games? Have a great wk-end, Thx BFB

BFB I got my box version at Walmart, you can also get it at Amazon, Ebay and some game stores. I will tell you that it will cost you around 30 dollars. You have a great weekend too.

BFB if you buy the game from Big Fish you will not get Case 5. You only get that case if you own the retail version. The game has a good length for me, it would depend on how fast you play. I will tell you this it is not too hard but the trick is to get all gold stars at the end of each case. I have not done that yet LLC

BFB when you are playing in the lower left corner you will get a gold, silver or bronze star after you complete each task. Then at the end of each case there are 5 categories you are ranked on. The goal is to get gold stars in each of the categories at the end of the case.

You will not be able to obtain case 5 unless you buy the boxed version of the game either at a retail store or from an online store. Once you receive the CD, you will have to download case 5 after you've verified your purchase.

Hey Margie B: So sorry for asking all the ?'s today. As you know I am not a 'puter wiz. I downloaded CSI NY today, and am looking on e-bay for the boxed version so I can also have Case 5. I'M SO CONFUSED and it don't take much. Are you going to do a walkthru???Plssssssss. I'm now at the Tatoo room and stuck. Oh me oh my. Thx soo much to you and Granni123 you are both gems. Hugs BFB

BFB show her the bracelet (click on the black part) it can be tricky, tatto and the photo (click on his face) and make sure you have asked all questions. Good Luck

To put it in short words, their members are so negative about many issues, questions of help, and game review. These ppl need to come to GZ where the ppl are positive and luv each other as members. BF offers the first 4 cases that are in the box version. You will not be able to get Case 5 with BF version as that is only offered to those who purchased the box (retail) version.

I'm stuck on the bonus case. I've collected all the evidence at the victim's apartment except for that stupid scrap of paper or whatever it is under the bed. I've tried everything i can think of and that's all i need to get past this part. Can anyone help me please?

CSI:NY Bonus Case 5 -PART 2-Released for owners of the boxed version

Hi All
We're experiening technical difficulties with the original post so we had to start a new thread.
Yesterday Ubisoft released the 5th bonus case for CS:NY. Those of you who own the boxed game just need to start the game and it will be updated automatically. Make sure that your computer is connected to the internet at the time or it will not be able to update.
The following is a quote that was posted on Gameboomers.com on the right way to update the game. Thanks Ana!
"Without further ado, the 5th case is now downloadable. Players can access it by running the game when they have an active internet connection. It will autopatch, then prompt you to click on the case 5 icon. This will redirect to a web page where they can register for ubi.com and get the free case. "

I talked to Ubisoft's tech support and if you can download case 5 but it will not install this is what you need to do.
Go to CSI NY in your program files and click on gu (game update) download and install the update.
Open your game and click on case 5 and follow instructions on how to download and install.
Once you have completed that close out and restart your computer. Open game and case 5 should have crime scene tape across it that looks like the other cases you have not played.
The version of CSI:NY that Big Fish is releasing this week, will NOT have the 5th case added to it.
