I do this cheat too, but cannot save. Have to "re-up" every time I want to play a new round.

Hi Momlvsu2 and Miranda22.. The best thing is to contact the support where you bought the game.. I don't think it's a Vista prob...
Good luck

I posted an answer to your question earlier this morning describing how to edit the .xml file in your program directory for this game, but that post does not appear. Are these types of messages forbidden on the GZ site? Don't understand why my message doesn't appear. Thx

To bitg05 - an hour later and no response from a mod as to whether the "cheat" I posted is allowable on this site. So I am guessing silence is consent. Here's what to do: find Profiles.xml in the Cradle of Rome directory on your computer. Make a copy of it for a backup before fooling around so you don't have to reinstall the game if you foul up the edit. Open the .xml in notepad. Search for "ResBonus" and change "amount = "0" to "amount = "200" for all of your weapons, which are designated Type 10 through Type 17. You will then have refilled weapons for the next round. As I said above, though, when you USE the weapon, you will have to refill the "ResBonus" to "200" before you start the next level. Good luck.

There are .xml files all over your computer. Did you type in "profiles.xml" in your search window? That should retrieve LOTS of files. You need to find the one for Cradle of Rome. Did you find the game directory in your programs list? Use a text editor to edit the "profiles.xml" file in that game directory. Sorry, but that's the best I can do long distance!

Nope, no hits on "profiles.xml". Where's the directory? Is it accessed through the terminal?
