Are you talking about finding the diamonds for an extra hint? If so, on my game there was a glitch where it was impossible to find the last diamond. I left the diamond hint area and then went right back in and it gives another set of diamonds to find. I think the game does this 2 or 3 times in the Count of MC. Hope this helps.

Strange, you can usually skip all mini-games. Then of course you lose ten minutes and hints but you can go back for some. Are you sure it is not a glitch?

It seems like this is a compulsory game..
Nope, Scooter, i have no problem looking for the diamonds for hints in the dark..
What i mean is the board like diamond collapsed game, which we have to click them by minimum of a pair to collapse it, this mini-game occurs once in every stage.
There is a statue on the left that has the word 'MENU', when click on it, is just normal game menu instead of skipping option...
I was able to collapsed those diamonds in earlier stage, but it's getting harder and i am not able to clear all diamonds on the board.., it just will reset the board again.. :(
I can't do it, i am suck at this kind of collapsing game.., and i didn't expect such mini game appears in TCMC, sigh..
Maybe i should just give up and try something else... :(

There should be a skip button. I used it several times on that diamond game. One last thing to try. Do you have hints left? Maybe you have to have some hints in order for the skip button to work. If you don't have any hints left, try going and getting a few hints then comback and see if the skip button appears. Otherwise it may be a glitch in your game. I guess I should have asked if you have ever had a skip button available for any of your mini games. You may have to contact the site where you downloaded game and ask their support people. I know the skip button takes all your hints and docs you time when you use it. I'm sorry I couldn't have been more help to you. Some games that work this way with the skip button requires you to have a certain amount of hints in order to use the button. You mentioned menu, the skip button should be visible somewhere by the mini game itself, not in menu.

Lol, i hope we are talking about the same diamonds game that appears in Monte Cristo here..
There are 2 diamonds games in Monte Cristo, one is to look for 10 mini diamonds in the dark to get hints..
The other one is the board game alike, i am not able to go through that, i am not worry about the time, as i selected extended time, and yes, the hints can be find again in the dark mini diamonds game..
But this board game can't be skip, and i can't continue, just like the other card game which i don't have problem resolving it..

I'm talking about the mini game where you have to click on the colors until they are all gone. I skip that one with the skip button. I thought maybe you had to have a certain amout of hints left in order to activate the skip button for diamond mini game. The other stones for hints are various colors and shaped in dark cave. Maybe you need to have enough hints in order to activate or use the skip button. Do you have a skip button for the mini game?

I think the mini game you are talking about has red, blu, green or purple. You click on groups to make them fall until all are gone. Is that the one?

Here is a link to a picture of the Diamond Match game in the version of the Count of Monte Cristo game that I have. It is the same as your picture except that mine has a SKIP button at the bottom of the screen.
Perhaps your version is an earlier version. I remember when the game first came out that a lot of people complained about various things. I think some of the things were the difficulty of finding the gems to get hints, the objects being grainy and the mini games not having a skip option. I know that the game developers changed some things and did new releases for this game. I did a demo of it back then but I didn’t buy it because of all the complaints from other people. I now have Shockwave, so I have access to the newest version of the game from them. I don’t know where you got your game but perhaps if you download the game again to get the latest version it will have the skip options on the games.Count of Monte Cristo Diamond Match

When you SKIP a mini-game you lose 10 minutes and all your hints that you might have. I wanted to see if not having any hints would effect the SKIP option in the mini-games. So I played another round in this game and I intentionally used all my hints in the first scene so that I would go into the next mini-game with no hints. The next mini-game that came up was the Diamond Match and I still had the SKIP option on the screen. So it sounds like you have an older version of the game. I hope this helps.
