This game is coming out tonight and it is supposed to be a big hit since Popcap and Gamezebo are having a live launch tonight. I wasn't in love with the other Bejeweled games because once you lost you had to start the game over again rather than progressing. However I have a feeling that since so much energy has been put towards this game, it is going to be very innovative (I hope!) and different than it's predecessors. I look forward to play tonight!! -Don

Bought it - Playing It - LOVE IT SO FAR - not as revloutionary as I thought BUT on the other hand I have not gotten far with it so far. PEGGLE will have to take a back seat for a while.

Here are my overall thoughts... The game is beautifully polished and is also an innovative twist on the match 3 genre. I am sure it will sell many copies. If you like the original Bejeweled and Bejeweled 2, you will love this game. However, the game is missing one mode which I sorely look for in a casual game- A Quest mode. I do not like the fact that after I lose the game, I have to start all the way over at the very beginning even though my rank stays the same. I much more prefer the 'Jewel Quest' idea where if you make it to level 5-7 and lose, you can continue in level 5-7 again. I think if you took the Bejeweled Twist gameplay graphics and sound but added a Quest mode this game would be amazing. Like I said, I just don't like starting things all over again because it gets tedious. Other than that, I enjoyed the demo.

Four years in the making. The game supposedly had a new twist. I guess they're four years too late. That new twist is now old and has been already done with many other match 3 games. And Bejeweled was not the original match 3 game to begin with. It was a copy of Tetris Attack from Nintendo.

the game is boring and pointless, I mean you switch jewels anywhere, any number of moves... what's the point?? timebombs are just annoying. Peggle is WAY better.

Honestly, I got bored after playing the demo for like 5 minutes. I just quit playing. I was expecting more. I also agree that "Peggle" is far better. It's more challenging and visually more dynamic. I'm not sure what the real objective to "Bejeweled" is beyond swapping colored jewels. I actually did purchase "Bejeweled 2" awhile ago, but I got bored with it. I also agree that they should have been hip to the idea of a quest mode for the new game. I wouldn't pay $20 dollars for it. It just seems so arbitrary. It's like the same actions go on ad nauseam.

Meh. Four years in the making? At the risk of being very cynical, this should have been knocked out in six months. Visually, it's nice. Audio is nice as well. But the game mechanic is so very outdated. Even before the visuals came out the "Twist" moniker that was announced in the game title eluded to what the game would be about. Disapointing that this was four years in the making.

Ok people people, I have something to say!
I hadn't love Bejeweled series before. But now everything is about to change.
This is the best Casual series that I've ever seen!
You know what, its has endless fun and sounds like it doesn't fit anyone: If you love, you'll love by your heart but if you hate, you'll hate all its path. I was in, I knew it
So, please, don't my love down
Bejeweled Twist(TM)'s gameplay is good, unique & fun. This is the first Casual Game has spin in it.
Its visual arts impress me
And if PopCap don't release Bookworm Adventures 2 quickly, I'll vote Bejeweled Twist(TM) for Best Casual Game of the Year 2008 in Zeebys 2009, I swear!
