Different Types of Protection Modes

Protection status lets you prepare and give you a chance to rebuild. There are different types that is available in the game, some are automatic and some you can activate. Below is a list of protection modes, which ensures that you don’t get attacked during that time and should be included in your overall strategy.

Starter Protection

This is activated automatically by the game when you start playing. It lasts 14 days and this is when you need to spend time building your base.

During this time, you need to start building 2 twig snappers and 2 pebble shiners and upgrade them as high as possible. Increase your storage capacity for you by building and upgrading your silos. This will help when you need to upgrade your town hall. One putty squisher and 1goo factory is suffice and just upgrade them up to level 3 or 4. Start building your defense towers and place them strategically near buildings you like to protect (which are normally your resource buildings). The monster locker and hatchery is next. Last in the list should be your map room and flinger. If you don’t want to attack other players yet, when the protection is off, you don’t need to build the last two buildings yet.

Damage Protection

This is activated automatically by the game when your base has been destroyed. This gives you a chance to rebuild your defenses for the next attack. Again, not unless you have plans to attack other players, the need for monsters is not a priority. Your monsters can’t defend your base. You get 12 hour protection if your base has been destroyed around 30-60% and more damage will give you 24 hours. In case you are attacked 4 times in an hour, you get about an hour to rebuild your base.

+24 Hours Protection

You can buy this from the General Store for 25 shiny. Use this sparingly. Take advantage of the automatic protection first. You could purchase this if you want to extend your starter protection and need more time to prepare your base. You can only purchase this every 5 days.

Holiday Protection

We all need to some recreation time and this is great to use when you need to stop playing for a few days. You can purchase every 2 weeks. Take note it is expensive to buy this and use it when you really need it.

All protection modes will be removed when you start attacking another player.
