Disappointed -- I’d felt fine until trying it. They’d better take time to think something new. And it’s not a “Great Game” I did look for. ||| PROS: Attracts lots of gamers because of its “Azada” name. A good game to relax after all. | CONS: Recycled, disappointed theme – I didn’t wanna be in this library, again. Don’t tell me that Azada 3 will take place in it again. If Dream Chronicles 2 had taken place in Village of Wish, this series wouldn’t have been my favorites anymore; Recycled, unimpressed graphics – Darker but less mysterious; Recycled, boring and stiff characters – Man, characters didn’t have their own emotions. By the way, you can talk to everyone like an acquaintance, it’s illogical; Recycled, annoying SFXs; Boring story – After rescuing him, I’d rather explore the great world outside than “go around, come around” to be his assistant. You also might be the only one who listen his words. I wish he’d stop blahhing about his uncle, himself and fairytales. | P/S: I’m not a Big Fish Games-antifan, not yet to talk about their great services. I loved this much better than the original Azada. I couldn't even finish the first because of the timed element. I guess I'm a bit slow, but I kept running out of time and had to replay. After a couple times, I gave up and started this one. Boy what a difference. The graphics and game play are wonderful, and there's also a relaxed mode. One day I'll try Azada again, but for now, I'm lovin' this! Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Very nicely done, not for hard-core HOGGERS, but appealing to us casual players. You can't go wrong with this one. Lots of "books" to open and puzzle through. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Wowzah! Excellent production values, superb art, and compelling gameplay. I liked this one better than the original Azada. My hour trial was over all too quickly and I'm tempted to buy. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Ancient magic isn't really an "Azada 2." I was disappointed it wasn't more like the first Azada, but it's still a good game. The puzzles are similar to the "mini adventure game type" inventory puzzles in the first Azada, only they're more highly developed, span across different screens, and have a fairy tale theme. I like this one much much better than the first. I did not enjoy having to replay the levels in the first Azada. Maybe I'm just less intelligent...I don't know, but this is a quicker, smoother game play,in my opinion. Oh,I liked the first one,and finished it,but I like this one better, and hope they make the 3rd more like this one than the first. Love this game. The books are really cool, and the graphics are awesome! I gave it a 5. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Beautiful game, but nothing compared to the original. Lacking the numerous brain teaser puzzles which made the first Azada so special and original. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

A delight to the eyes, a great use of classical characters, a wonderful game all in all. I am looking forward the next one! Too bad indeed that it is still too short but better have quality than long boring games. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I am definately in the 'Loved it, enjoyed even more than Azada 1 camp'. Having played Azada 1 I was a bit quicker on the uptake of what to do! and then found: Right combination of challenging but not impossible mini games (with Gamezebo's help on occasions!!) Sumptious graphics Lovely idea of the 'books' and stories. Easier to understand story line For me fantastic, thanks to all at BFG for giving us such a feast. I have to say that after waiting patiently for so long for the sequel to Azada to come out, when it finally did it was a bit of a let down. I guess I was looking forward to a game that was a lot more difficult than the first, but it was actually less difficult! Maybe my expectations were too high to begin with and I set myself up for a let down. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Well, that was unexpected, quick and fun. But those of you who haven't played yet, don't expect this to be like the first Azada. Enjoy it as a creative new style Azada. I can't wait for the next one. Kudos BigFish! Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I thought this was a great game. The scenery, music, and books they choose were all just perfect. Not so sure I liked all the puzzles though, will find out a little better on the second go round. I absolutely loved the puzzles in Azada. I can whip through that game in about an hour and half. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I liked Azada, I LOVED Azada 2. I don't... this game felt more complete... there was a story to back the puzzles. It is a beautiful game and there is a lot of re-playability. The Gingerbread House was my favorite story! Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Super! The new relaxed mode makes it very playable (I was absolutely unable to do the Robot puzzle on the original Azada - not quick enough). There are lots of pleasing new touches in Ancient Magic. All in all this is a flawless game. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Was a pretty good game. It was easier than I thought though. It was worth the five hours. I enjoyed it!! I would recommend it. The only problem was that you did not know what to do in some cases. You just had scan around until you found something. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I guess that I am in the minority since I think that this game is better than the previous one. Several caveats: This is really more of an “adventure game with puzzles” than a “puzzle game with a story” like the first Azada. I love adventure games, so I liked that approach. But it doesn’t seem to have been everyone’s cup of tea. Secondly, unless you really like a ‘beat the clock’ game, I would recommend doing this game in relaxed mode. Enjoyable, but not as compelling (or spooky) as the first one. Felt more like an Azada-clone than a sequel. If you're familiar with the books, it can be quite short: it took me less than 3 hours total. I enjoyed it, but not a classic like the first. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I have to agree with Bella3. A very good adventure game, but not as great as all the hype. Very short and not sure how replayable. However, game is definately enjoyable, well put together w/ great graphics. Not as good as the first but still worth buying! Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

I finally finished the game and I thought it was good. Not great, but good. Unfortunately I don't think it was as good as the first one and I think it was way too short. Maybe I'm left feeling a little unimpressed because there was so much hype about the game and I was really looking forward to it. I don't regret buying it but I still felt that it was not up to par with the first one. Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate

Except for the headache I am getting for playing this game for hours it is GREAT!! Puzzles are difficult and I had to skip one but that is okay because it makes the game interesting to try to figure out the puzzles. Once you do they are a little bit easier. I did skip the rock. Graphics, music, storyline, etc. are GREAT!!!!

Well back to the game and happy Azada to all!!!!

EIEIO Give this Review a Kudos Report as Inappropriate
