Yay, walkthrough!Until it gets posted, here are the parts of the game that people seem to have the most trouble with. Check these threads first before starting a new one.Anything up through the Headless Horseman, including The Fairytale/Rapunzel, The Castaways/Robinson Crusoe, The Ghost, The Secret Garden, the Timeline, The Vampire/Dracula, The Treasure/Long John Silver, The Headless Horseman: Official Gamezebo Tips and Tricks Thread (always check this first as it's being updated)The rest of these are in order of how they appeared in the Forum, not necessarily the order in the game. The Detective (Sherlock Holmes)The Voyage/Captain NemoThe Baron/von Munchhausen (gears)The Traveler/time machineHansel and Gretl (all puzzles)Wizard of Oz/TinmanThe Invisible ManThe Legend/King ArthurTitus picture/final passwordThe Genie/freezerHave fun! Once the real walkthrough gets posted, I'm sure it will answer everyone's questions--Marvelous MargieB! is, well, marvelous! But these should help until then.

  • MargieB, Just wanted to say

    Report as Inappropriate

    MargieB,
Just wanted to say Thank You for the Final version of your Tips & Tricks! Very nicely done, much better than the one I was trying to compile for my wife Judy so that she could play the game too. Particularly liked the first couple of pages, they should be read by everyone before starting the game, as should both Lizzie & Robin’s tips on the hints and orbs.
Have been enjoying playing this game very much since re-starting in relaxed mode. Really enjoy being able relax, so to speak, and go at my own speed. Great screens, good mood setting music, reasonably difficult puzzles along with a story (using familiar characters) make this 2nd version of Azada a joy to play. As you mentioned in your “T&T” the addition of the “Relax Mode” has opened this little gem up to a much wider audience.
As some of our Great Ladies have said on other threads in this Forum, and bear reading by all who are interested in understanding Azada: Ancient Magic and its “roots”, this is NOT Azada! It is Azada “Part 2” and I for one can’t wait to see what Azada 3 is going to look like! Meanwhile I am going to continue playing BOTH while waiting to see what this series of games is going to Morph into next! For those that are interested you should read the Thread titled “Overall impression of Azada Ancient Magic” for a very insightful look into this game, by three of our best gamers here on Gamezebo, in this same Forum.
I realize that some of the more “hardcore” puzzle gamers may find this game too easy/short for them. More power to them, I take off my hat and bow to their superior abilities, but they should remember that many of us older folks play these games to relax and enjoy stepping into “another world” to escape our every day worries and pressures. Even if it is a brief stay, though for many of us it won’t be that short a stay, please let us enjoy the game. Besides we always have MargieB’s T&T to act as our Safety Net if we get stuck and get stuck we do, just look at the number of posts on these pages. Just my two cents for what it is worth.
    Happy Gaming All,
    OldMan44

Hey Oldman, thanks you are such a nice man, always making everyone on the site feel special. I want you to know how much it is appreciated.

The guide still has a little while to go, I still have to add some screenshots and we're trying to add some video solutions to the puzzles so everyone can see how certain ones are done. The videos may not come for a few weeks since we have some other changes coming soon.

I hope you have fun this weekend and say hi to Judy for me. Tell Judy that we want to see her write in here one day. Even if it's justto give us a quick hello :D

    Take care, Margie

Was I dreaming it, because I was so tired when I finished the Genie book, or did a link to this website and further games appear on the screen? Further games associated with Azada Ancient Magic, I mean. I didn't use the link, because I was so tired, and it was late.

Tonight I went back to the game, and found I wasn't QUITE finished yet, as I still had to solve The Creature book. Now I finished that, so I guess there's nothing further till Game 3 comes out. If there is a Game 3?

    Report as Inappropriate

You weren't dreaming. When you finish the Genie book you get a screen with three choices. One is back to the library in this game. One is a link to the official Azada website blog, which has info about Azada and Azada Ancient Magic. One is a link to the home page for Big Fish Games, where there are all kinds of games. I think they plan on having a part three. Titus gave us the words Cellar Door to use in the next Azada Adventure.

    Report as Inappropriate

    Lizzie,
Been meaning to say “Thank You” for the “Cheering” pictures, since I saw them the other day and kept forgetting. Judy and I both thought they were hilarious, particularly the one of me & Grammy, oh to be that young again! Told Grammy about it and she said she would have to look, too.
Did you do those “tattoos” yourself? If so, you are quite talented, they are very good! Did you use Photoshop to do the cheering pictures, that is what I use for restoring all of the old family pictures to make “Family Albums” for my siblings and sons to give at Christmas?
    Happy Gaming and Thanks again,

    Report as Inappropriate

Hi Old Man, I use Paint for the photos. I just learned how to take a screen shot back after Saqqarah came out and I have just been playing with Paint and learning as I go. I had a great time doing the cheers and carnival pictures.
The tattoo patterns are some that I drew years ago with pencil and paper before I had a computer. My late husband and I had a tattoo parlor and I would sometimes draw custom patterns. I stopped drawing when he died. I put those pictures on photobucket to show an old high school friend a few that I had drawn. I guess they are something from another life.

Hi Margie - I think I must be brain dead but I still cannot solve the Castaway book final puzzle. Your solution seems to have 5 or 6 mirrors (it's a little hard to see) while I only have 4. So your solution doesn't work for me. Can you show me where I am going wrong? Many thx.

How does this game compare to the first one?

I just finished the first one and enjoyed it a lot.  I love the seemingly endless series of puzzles.  You never knew what you were going to get and it was always challenging and interesting.

Is this sequel basically the same type of game?  What are the differences?  Is it longer or shorter?

Thanks so much for the info!

Just played through the first set of books with 10 minutes left on the demo.   I got to where you look at the first three suspect cards.

It's not quite the same as the first one but I like it.  It's interesting and, if it gets harder as it goes along, will be a nice challenge.

I'm always looking for games that make my brain less mushy.

I'll be buying this one today.
