Hi crescentalla,
It's been a while since I played and I'm not sure if they changed the orbs since I played but from what I remember you only get a maximum of 4 orbs in the game so you must use them wisely. I can't remember how the orbs were accumulated but it was not after every chapter. If this information has changed, I apologize. I hope you guys enjoy the game.

Thanks, I could not remember either, as I said mine was just a guess. Will watch when re-playing and see if I can tell.

Thanks MargieB. I have used 3 orbs on the dang robot and I have one left. I'm on chapter 7. So I'll probably run into the robot a couple more times!

crescentallat, The good news is that you get 5 Orbs in total in the original Azada, so maybe you will have enough to skip the rest of the Robots. Have fun and good luck!

I really hope Azada 2 has a timer, or at least an option for a timer because I think it would take the challenge out of the game without a timer. Perhaps to please everyone it should be an option at the beginning of the game.

Carfixer, I hope they have both options. Then the game will appeal to more people. It would be nice for me to play untimed at first then play it with the timer. I seem to keep running out of time in Azada on some puzzles. LOL Like the Robot! I keep running him into the wall. LOL

Most important first, Christian is adorable! My youngest grandson AJ is 3 and they are just amazing at that age!
Just finished reading your interview in the Azada: Ancient Magic blog. Thanks so much for all of the new information on the game. From what I read this game is going to be even more awesome (my wife’s favorite word of praise) than I had imagined. Thanks again for the preview and “hints” and rest assured that we will be on the edge of our seats until Thursday when we can get our hot grubby hands on yours and Jerome’s latest creation! Now……if we just don’t have to race against a clock it will be just about perfect.
By the way, have been a SF/RGP fan since youth (read 1950’s) and cut my teeth on Jules Verne (a very good French author) and a great story teller and have read ALL of his books. So am in total agreement with you and Jerome’s choice of inspiration.
Well back to re-playing Azada (currently just leaving Chapter 4) so that I can use the secret book. Thursday is only days away! Sounds as if we will need all the help we can get. To me the original Azada always had a lot of re-playability due to the mini-game library concept. Used to play them by themselves for practice before my hard drive crash.
Happy Gamin All,

Sorry about the missing "br" at the of the post. Was in a rush to get out the good news my "Proof reading" was a little lax!

MargieB,
Thanks for opening up this forum and for posting the trailer link. I checked it out and what can I say except, gotta have it!!! I just started playing Azada (bought for .99) and love it. Now I can't wait for Azada: Ancient Magic. Just wish that I had more time to play.

From what I read on the Azada Site Blog today that was 99 cents well spent, hope others did the same. There is a “Secret Book” that playing the original Azada allows you to open in Ancient Magic.
Happy Gaming

I just replayed Azada over the weekend to get the code again. It was a pretty fun game, but the timer also drove me nuts. I'm finding that I just don't have fun with timed games; they're too tension-filled.
In addition to the timer though, I really hated the extreme time penalties in the "story" pages. (I'm not sure what else to call them.) At one point, I picked up some darts and used them to click on the dartboard....and got a huge time-penalty. It turns out I needed to "open" the dartboard first by clicking on it, then use the darts. In addition, at one point, I tried to "hold a paper up to the light" coming in through a window, and got heavily penalized for it.
I realize that they wanted to prevent random clicking, but sometimes in those kinds of games you really need to experiment because you're not sure what to do. I hope that they've found a more happy medium if they've kept those kind of puzzles in Azada 2.
I do have to say that the graphics in the game look awesome, and the multiple book approach sounds like a lot of fun. I'll be getting a game credit tomorrow, which is perfect timing. :)

Hey Oldman44,
Thank you so much for your comments! I have two daughters as well (4 yo twins).. I have some pictures of them on my facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1072762710). I'm not big on talking about myself (interviews and the like) but it was a good opportunity to talk about Jerome's contributions. For Azada: Ancient Magic we've expanded the team further and got even more minds tuned to the game's little details.
I hope Azada: Ancient Magic lives up to expectations, that you have fun playing it and that you like the angle we chose for it. We've tried to make it as good as we can.. Now I feel like the day before a big exam :)
Best regards,

Thanks for replying. And you are welcome, my comments were what I was thinking after reading the blog and I meant every word. Have already booked marked your page and will look at it when todays Azada give-away contest is finished, have to cheer these great Ladies here on! I have one 9 year old granddaughter of my own (have 5 sons and no daughters) who is the light of my life, so will be sure to look at yours. Thank you for sharing, does an old man’s heart good.
Can only imagine what you guys must be feeling (the day before the 1st release of the new game). Maybe a little like when your child was born? Well keep an eye on this forum this weekend and you will see how it is received! Rest assured, you will get plenty of comments both good and bad! But by the same token they will be Honest Opinions. Gamezebo is one site that will tell it like it is! I for one, based on what you guys have shown so far, think that it will be well received! Well Good Luck friend, and you can count on me buying at least one copy of your new “Child”. Look forward to many happy hours of game play with your new creation. Thanks go to your whole Team.
Happy Gaming All,

Not as good as the first. It took me days to do the first & very very challenging, this one took hours & not enough challenge. #3 should have levels of difficulty & make the thing longer or changeable so it can be played more than once.

I got the magic code but now it will not let me open any new books because i do not have enough magic and i cant find how to get more -
Sorry, but this game is nowhere as exciting as the first!!!! In fact it was boring and way to easy. I hope that you go back to the drawingboard before thinking about a third one!!! I would advise anyone who wants this game to wait until it's $.99 or free, it's not worth the money. I even thought this one would be more complicated than the first so i bought the strategy guide too ( i have sent in for a refund for that as i didn't even have to open it) so it was useless! This was a disappointment as to the first one and do love most of your games, just not this one. Even if the graphics and music were okay the game is what you play! Way, Way too short and not challenging enough. Come on guys bring on your A game with the next one PLEASE!!!!!

I bought the game for 99cents too, there is a timer there but i managed to passed chapter 1..
But after that., i can't continue, i never have enough time to solves those puzzle on time.
Which is a big dissappointment.., eventhough i can follow those walkthrouigh on every steps try clicking asap before the timer runs out, this wikll beat the level, but, the fun will be gone, and whats forthere is no fun when playing a game???
Sigh... :(
