SuzyQ,I can answer all your questions, but I think MargieB wants us to make one thread for each Book and put SPOILER in the header, so people don't see the ones they don't want to see. You start the threads, and I'll answer them there.

I am having major problems figuring out what is going on!
I am stuck!! My first issue is with the Witch. I can't figure out what I am doing. I have caught the chicken, cooked it, gotten the key, and the card, and the bread dough, ticked off the witch, can't touch her outside oven and am told that I'm not to feed the dough to the giant swan, what am I missing?
2nd issue: The Gold Mine: I can't find anything that helps. I have found the wall cabinet padlocked, the dynamite locked in the cell, the miner afraid of having someone jump his claim and the uncatchable pickaxe. Also everything, and I mean everything is locked, and I am unable to find any clues, I am tearing my hair out here people.
The 3rd issue, The Detective, I have actually managed to solve the cryptogram (thank's for the spoiler!) found the pen, replaced the pipe in the mail delivery system, I have a wrench with which I have no idea what to do, not to mention an icepick and a mail tube that I can't use cause I haven't figured out what goes in it!
Time for major relaxation therapy, oh yeah and I have a case of mouse lag, not major, but it's bugging me.
But...I LOVE this game, Help!!!
