Tried the game and was disappointed. It was too linear and simple. Also it installs a whopping 643 MB file in a hidden system folder.

For me this is the best game of this year, out of the question. The beta version already blew me away, and I do not assume that the final version will be worse. I just love, love, love this game and I think all the games in the next few weeks will seem to be lame to me, just because Artist Colony is so great :D

Love the game; however, wish there was a tutorial that better explains the steps. Does anyone know if there will be a help/hints being issued? I've searched and searched, to no avail. There are phases of this game that are a tad oblique, at least to me. Would appreciate any helpful hints. Good luck all!!!

I was on Pogo last night and they have the game to download for $19.95, which is high if you're used to getting them from BFG but it does include the strategy guide.

How far has everyone gotten in this game? I am trying my best to get the mural done and for some reason I can't. I have removed all of the debris and have a few sculptors at level 4 or above but still can't get it to start on it. Anyone have any ideas?

You need to upgrade all the buildings to get more far, I am almost finishing the game, tasks left are the million and the last upgrade for the residence. Look at every building, they have hints to help you out.

Hey melanciaa, have you put one of those level 4 sculptors on the mural? Because they are the only artists who can actually work on it at that point. And of course they have to be in the right mood.

After the sculptors you need a painter level 4, he/she will finish the mural.

I am trying to get the thing started. I can't get my sculptor to begin it. I have a few at level 4 or above and I have gotten their inspiration and health to 100 but they still wont start it after I drag them over to it. I have also made sure all debris is removed from around it and nothing.

I tried to restore the mural with a photographer who was trained in sculpture to the required level and it didn't work, so I guess you should check if your chosen artist is actually a sculptor (see description next to the name).

Help! I am looking for the last piece of the statue. I have 2 out of 3 pieces of the picture. I fished something up and then also found two rocks that had the pictures underneath. I am waiting to collect my $250,000 but I still need the last piece of the picture. Does anyone know how I get it?

I need help! I'm in the portion of the game where the main goal is to accumulate $250.000 and most of my artists are inspired but whenever I try to place them to create masterpieces, they won't. Their stats are all up and they have the require levels of skill, but they won't do what I tell them; though every once in a while they will start a masterpiece on their own. Does anyone know what is wrong?

Please, Please Help.....Love the game....Got past the mural. I'm at the point where the dude finds the page from his dad's journal. Then the game just errors and shuts down. Does anyone know if there is a patch available? Thanks

OrangeKnickers, you sound very nice and don't seem to mind helping other players. I am new to the forum and don't really know how to get responses. Do they show up automatically? Would you happen to know if there are any patches for this game? I keep getting an error and the game shuts down after Ben finds the journal page from his father. I have already completed the mural and restored the fountain. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...BKRPOOH

I've got two of the three pictures for the satute, and i found 2 of the peices, and even after looking at the screen shots i can't find anymore!! oh and i've already upgraded the residence! sooo stuck! it's been like thios for two days now!!

then collect the $250,000 before it will reveal the last piece. Once it
does you can complete the statue. Hope this helps! -

Out of curiousity, I just tried to buy the upgrade to the statue and it let me. I guess it doesn't tell you that you've found a piece. That irritates me a little bit!
