I am still trying to get this game finished. I am really sorry I wasted my money on it. It is okay until the last day.

I have been stuck on day 78 for days and quit playing the game because I can't get past this, is there a way to by pass this day?

I finished the game once, but now I'm stuck on day 66- I can't remember how to get the pieces out of the narrow parts at the bottom- could use a reminder! And those boulders don't help...Otherwise, I think this game is really beautiful, great production values and musis and very addictive.

Gee, I must be an idiot to be stuck on day.. about 25. How do I got the objects out of the 2 space deep ledge at the top? hmm

I'm another one who is stuck on Day 81! I'm sure there is a secret also!

I'm afraid there is no secret. It took me quite a bit of playing to get past it.

For months I was stuck on day 81. I played the game under 4 different names and always got stuck on that last one. I tried it again yesterday and cannot believe it is so simple. I have now completed it four times in a row. If you notice this one gives you lots of power up opportunities. I was always frustrated with so many power ups when it looks like you can't use them. Then I decided there must be a reason. I started paying attention to the very bottom extra time symbol. Quite often you will get this lineup. Color A in the very left box, symbol next, color A again, then color B with color A above. Use the power up to eliminate color B causing color A to drop down. You can then slide the symbol over to the left box where it will drop out. Continue doing this as each symbol drops down to the bottom. It's best if you can use the first hammer to eliminate only one color at a time. A higher power creates a less controlled reaction. Several times when I hadn't been able to use the power up before it increased, I just set it off so I would have the single hammer if the opportunity came up. Sounds so simple but it has worked for me four straight times.

You are welcome Margie B. I hope it has helped someone. I'm just trying to do a payback for all the great help I've gotten on this site. Elle

Thanks Elle and Mckinyon. I managed to finally get past Day 81 yesterday, and figured out about using the power shots too Elle! Now I'm in Journey 2!

Smidgeon,
In case you haven't figured it out yet here are some hints for game 66. You have to get the symbol all the way to the bottom. After that you need two blocks on top that match the ones to either side of the symbol.Sometimes you can use the first power hammer to eliminate an in between color to create the two on top that you need to get the symbol to the bottom and then again to slide it to the side. I agree the boulders are a problem. I was lucky and got a situation that allowed me to slide the boulder to the side out of the way. Good luck. This is actually one of my favorite puzzles. I can't wait to see what the boulders will do to the final puzzle.

About the boulder. I just discovered that you can use the power up to eliminate the boulder.

Elle, thanks for 66 and 81 help. I can't remove boulders, unless they drop out of the bottom. How do you do it, please.

Anitam,
You're welcome. Glad I could help.
I have been able to remove a boulder by clicking on it with the single hammer. The higher power hammers don't work.

Elle, what a fantastically prompt response. Will try that out, should I get on a second journey again.

I am so confused. I tried to open up my game today and while it was loading, it stuck halfway through and wouldn't go anymore. I had to do ctrl, alt, del to get out of the game. I tried re-loading but that didn't work. Any suggestions???

Glendat, I´m sorry you´re having trouble with your game. Sometimes a game would start again normally after a shut down and restart of the computer. If not, you can contact the support of the provider where you bought your game. Some of the providers have very good support service.

Thanks for the info. I have tried several times to uninstall and then install, but it doesn't work. I will try to contact the provider. Thanks again.

I'm stuck on Day 78 as well. Cannot imagine how to get past this one!
How have you managed it? There does not seem to be enough time to defreeze all the tiles?!
Thanks for your help.

Hi Rosario, Yes.. it's worth trying to find a system to defreeze the tiles as quick as possible and save your extra's for the last "heavy" days...

Good luck...

Hi, stick with it. All at once you get the right combination of colors and you breeze thru it. I'm now in day 24 of the fifth journey. Day 81 of journey 4 seemed to take forever. The boulders (dark clouds?) seem to get worse with each successive journey. When I finish day 81 of journey 5, if there's a journey 6, I might quit and get a life away from ATWI80D. I have to admit that it's addictive. milty

Day 78 actually does have a secret.
Ignore the bottom frozen level for now. Go to the top and start making as many four piece matches as you can. You will have lots of opportunities. Continue powering up until you get the final one (rotating fireball). Use it on the middle locked tile at the very bottom. The explosion will begin clearing the locked and frozen tiles. Go back to the top and continue making power up matches until you get to the fireball again. You will need to use the fireball a total of three times to completely clear the frozen tiles. It has been awhile since I played it. You might need to try dropping the pieces as far as you can in the top level while making your matches. I seem to recall that once I cleared the bottom all the pieces dropped out at one time.
Sometimes you might have a piece to the far right or left edge. It will not drop with the others. While you are working on matches at the top of the board look for opportunities to either drop that single piece (there are no locked or frozen tiles under it) or move it to the interior where it will eventually drop with the others.
So far I have had enough time to build the fireball the required three times each time I have played. It is actually easier than the ones with the walls.
Good luck

The tips do not tell me how to get passed Day 81. I have been stick here for days.
I've completed 81 four times - I'm currently half way thru Journey 5, and I haven't found a secret yet. You just need to wait for right combination of colors. The fireball doesn't help. The first and second levels of the hammer are what will get you thru. Good luck, and hang in there. milty

I am stuck on the last day in Japan where they have 2 pieces in the bottom where the wall is. How do you get them around to where they will drop off?
Send a Kudo Post a reply Quote & Reply -
Hi Trppd.. There isn't really a discription to get rid of the pcs. in the bottom where the wall is... May be the post of Ellen ( on top of these posts here) might help you out...I always tried the day again and again till I solved it.
Good luck..

Great tip..It only took me two times! Love this game! Do you have a suggestion for another match 3 game that is as good as this one? Ive tried 10 talisman and fishdom but they don't give me the thrill that this one did. I will keep playing it, but wondered if you could recommend another similar. Thanks again for the tips!

This is the only match 3 game that I like. The others I've tried are boring. On Journey 2 they throw in boulders that make the game a little different.
I'm glad my tip helped.

Thekisally,
Didn't mean to ignore answering you. I had a computer crash and lost some of my emails so wasn't aware that you had done a new post here. This game is the only one of its type that I play. I actually like the adventure games. Some of my favorites are Drawn, Puppet Show, Princess Isabella, Treasure seekers the Enchanted Canvases, Enlightenous, the two Azada, the three Dream Chronicles and Return to Ravenhearst. I tried a couple of the marble popper games but found them frustrating. There always seemed to be a level I just couldn't get past.

I just discovered this game a few days ago, and I'm loving it! I haven't gotten to the end yet, just finished India. But I just wanted to say -- I love the music!! The Indian techno groove is sweet! I kept losing lives coz I was dancing while playing! :)

Thank you for the tips Elle! They really worked! I beat Day 81 on the second try, with lots of time to spare. :) Thanks for helping us all out. I'm now making my second journey -- I love the French accordion music too, it's like straight out of Amelie!

I agree. This section ruins

I agree. This section ruins the game for me. I don't see the point in it being so difficult. It's just random luck getting the pieces to fall correctly. It gets extremely boring after awhile. I did manage to win it one time.
