The last time I bought a game from Alawar,I couldn't get the registration #. So here I am with a paid game and no game. I had to buy the game from another site. So, you aren't the only one. :)

sassysue4 the reason it said that i could not play it was ep.exe has stopped working is that the reason it would not let you play it. alawar has a toll free number on the regristration letter I called them and they said they would get in touch with manufacturer of game, so now I am waiting they said if it does not get fixed then I should call back to get a money refund.

For a very long time I have felt that alawar does not have great customer service. They are a company based out of the United States, and for that reason alone, I will not ever purchase anything from them......my experience with most out of country gaming sites is very similar, because they do not either understand or put a premium on Customer Service, it is their loss. RA, Big Fish and most other major sites are based out of Seattle Washington, and their Customer Service is impeccable. Shockwave, is based in California. However, this game will come to BFG, and shockwave, so it is just a matter of time. I do think it is very sad though, because the Alawar games are some of the most inventive and creative games out on the gaming market today. So remember your experience, and keep in mind that the games will come to other venues that are more reliable....it is just a matter of patience.... and believe me when you find a game you absolutely love, that is the most unkindest cut of all......at least that is one man's opinion. --gnashif

but I have bought games from them before and this is the first time they are being this way. now from what I understand if a game does not work on a computer then it will not work later on, am I wrong cause then they should give me back my money. they should have not put a game out that does not work and lets say they fix it how will I know that it has been fixed. I'm sorry to go on and on but I really liked there games now I can't trust them anymore.

Some of the newer games may run into problems on older computers, if a game does not run, you may need to do one of the following: update your direct X files, update your video and sound card drivers, if you are using windows XP make sure you have all the windows updates installed.
If you do all of this and it still does not run, then their customer support should help you, Big Fish for example will request your DXDIAG file, and they will prompt you on how to do that, the DXDIAG file gives them all the info they need to determine what is wrong and how it can be corrected, and they will let you know.
But Alawar does not seem interested in doing this, for their customers. And therefore they should give you a refund. I know that BFG would and so would Real Arcade... I have experienced this with both of these companies.
One more thing you might try and do, is maybe take your computer to a local company and have them look at it and see if maybe they can update it for you... or determine what is going on. But, that is just a suggestion.
I hope everything works out for you and keep us informed.
