HINT: In this simple test, you must find out the identity of the mystery liquid by comparing its behaviour to that of three known liquids: nail polish, blood and ink. Begin by adding a drop of each of the four substances along the top (nail polish remover, salt, water and vinegar) to the samples. Observe how the mystery liquid reacts when it comes in contact with the other substances; then compare it to how the other three liquids behave.
